For the 2009 model year, the updated Porsche 997.2 generation was introduced featuring a more powerful flat-six engine with direct fuel injection and the option of a new 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. This 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera Coupe is finished in Guards Red over a black interior and features an optional PDK transmission, heated seats, a heated three-spoke Sport steering wheel, and Navigation Module for PCM. It was purchased by the seller about three years ago and has been used as a weekend driver during their ownership along with the installation of upgraded Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, and an FVD Brombacher exhaust. This Carrera Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 54k miles showing on the odometer.
This 997.2 is finished in Guards Red and rides on silver 19” Carrera S II wheels. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlamps, fog lamps, LED taillights and daytime running lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and black Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller notes previously installed clear paint protection film was removed from the front bumper and some minor scuffs were left in its place. The wheels were installed and mounted with new Pirelli tires within the last 7k miles. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black interior includes an Alcantara headliner, optional heated seats, and a heated three-spoke Sport steering wheel with PDK paddle shifters. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, a sound system, a Bluetooth phone interface, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The footwells are also lined with custom Carrera-logo floor mats. The seller notes the front passenger-side speaker sounds blown, although all other accessories are working properly.
A naturally aspirated and direct fuel-injected 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a dual-clutch 7-speed PDK transmission. The seller states the car has been upgraded with Bilstein shocks, Eibach sport springs, and a PDK-specific FVD Brombacher exhaust system. A full 40k-mile service was also completed at Penske Porsche West Broward under current ownership.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, a car cover, and a clean title.

@klingbiel one of the service records referenced a sensor for the tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) was not working, has this been addressed

@surroues the horn does work, but I guess it’s just not as loud as it could be
@surroues me and my wife are the second and third owners since 2014. No salt issues or rust. the car is never been through a car wash since we owned it
There was no film on the rear. Nothing needs to be painted on the rear.

Was the horn and tpms ever serviced or is the problem still present. It looks like both the front and rear bumper cover needs to be painted, what other types of imperfections? Having spent time in Pa and with the mention of corrosion on one of the service tickets it would be nice to have some underbody photos
