This 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4S Cabriolet comes finished in Ruby Red Metallic over Sand Beige full leather upholstery. Configured at an original MSRP exceeding a cost of $123k, it features a 7-speed PDK transmission, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, heated & ventilated Power Comfort Seats with memory, a heated steering wheel, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and much more. Modified with a Shark Werks exhaust and IPD plenum, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with less than 26k miles showing on the odometer.
This example comes finished in Ruby Red Metallic with a black convertible soft top. The 4S can be distinguished from other 997s by its wide fenders and model-specific rear reflector strip between the taillights. It rides on 19” Carrera S II wheels with optional 5mm wheel spacers. The seller notes a minor stone chip on the hood, and the convertible top hydraulic rams were replaced in June 2023. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver is greeted with Sand Beige full leather upholstery, featuring Power Comfort Seats with heat, ventilation, and driver memory functions. Other options include a heated steering wheel, self-dimming mirrors, the Bose High-End Sound Package, a Bluetooth phone interface, a universal audio interface, XM Radio, and a navigation module for PCM. Interior-colored floor mats were also selected, along with the Sport Chrono Package Plus, which adds a stopwatch dial to the dashboard. The seller adds that the air conditioning vent and evaporator were replaced in April 2020, and the cruise control module was replaced in January 2022.
This second-generation 997 is equipped with a direct fuel-injected 3.8L flat-six engine. Up to 385 HP is sent to all four wheels through a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission. Equipped with the Sport Chrono Package Plus, the driver of this 997.2 can re-map the engine and enhance this car’s performance characteristics on the fly, allowing for the ultimate driving experience. Modifications include a Shark Werks sport-tuned exhaust and an IPD plenum. Additionally, the front axle boots were replaced in March 2024, and a PDK service was performed in July 2024.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The car has always been garaged and well maintained. Never abused and never tracked. Never seen the inside of a body shop - no accidents nor dings.”

@Howisbiz I have purchased several cars from them via their website. Each time they arrived in perfect condition. Thanks for the feedback.
@deaddog I am in Tampa, Florida and Yes, the Porsche is available for you to view and drive. I believe the MG sticker is easily removed with a heat gun. I am originally from Cleveland and have a long standing relationship with Marshall Goldman so I chose to keep the sticker on.
Bid in the amount of $37,000
What city are you in? Is the car available for inspection/test ride? And any idea whether the Goldman dealer sticker is easily removed?
I see you purchased this from Marshal Goldmans in Cleveland. I bought an M5 from them. I can attest they only source and sell the cream of the crop. Nice 911.

Kurt is a good point of contact and knows the car.
Any dealer work was performed by Tampa Porsche.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Very nice 997.2 example. Would you share contact info on your mechanic/garage where the car has been serviced? Thanks
@jimrohr indeed it is.
@jayban001 I have seen several after market systems that can be installed but I don’t know how complex a project it is.
Is the BGSU on the license plate frame Bowling Green State University?
Bid in the amount of $26,997
Is there a way to instal a back-up Camera?
@jimrohr No issues. I took it to the shop in July to make sure service is up to date. I just posted several videos. Cold start (is it ever cold in Florida?) and one that shows the top operating. Let me know if you have any questions.
Any issues that need to be resolved? Any surprises for the new owner?
Great service records on a low mileage Florida beauty. The 997.2 is going to hold value well into the future. GLWTS
@u00rzo1 A copy of the CARFAX can now be viewed in the attachment section of the listing page.
@u00rzo1 , Thanks for pointing that out. I will contact PCM in the morning and ensure they post it.
@Coldhwayne, please ensure the referenced copy of Carfax had been actually posted. Thx!
@Steveduva , 4 cars and out of garage space.
Beautiful looking car. Why would you sell it ? Just wondering 🤔
I had this same exact spec car w/36k miles and absolutely adored it. Next owner will be sure to love it. Porsche did a great job on these 997.2's.
Bid in the amount of $5,000
rickster, thanks for weighing in with some very good info. Also the 2009 997.2 was the introductory year fo the PDK which I enjoy driving much more than the previous Tiptronic transmission.
The 2009, and later 997's, separate themselves, from earlier 997's that were burdened with potential IMS bearing failures (although a very small %). With direct injection, beginning in 2009, the IMS bearing problem was eliminated and other upgrades were included in the 2009's.
Beautiful example!
