Introduced for the 2009 model year, the 997.2 generation debuted an advanced dual-clutch PDK transmission and a more reliable direct fuel-injected flat-six engine. This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over Black full leather and features the Sport Chrono Package Plus, PASM Sport Suspension, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Sport Bucket Seats, a PCM navigation module, a Universal Audio Interface, and more. Showing approximately 28k miles on the odometer, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
Compared to the standard Carrera, the Carrera 4S features the widened bodywork of the 911 Turbo, a rear reflector strip between the taillights, red brake calipers, and quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and rides on silver 19″ Carrera S II wheels mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2024. Additional exterior features include fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and optional self-dimming mirrors. The left rear taillight assembly was recently replaced with a genuine OEM unit due to a fogged reverse lamp. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black full leather cabin highlights factory-optioned carbon fiber Sport Bucket Seats. Additional options include a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial, a navigation module for Porsche Communication Management (PCM), a Bluetooth Phone Interface, a Universal Audio Interface, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and interior-colored floor mats. Red seatbelts are equipped, and an OEM steering wheel with shift paddles has been installed. The seller notes that the driver’s side window switch may stick if pressed too firmly.
Power comes from a direct fuel-injected 3.8-liter flat-six engine factory-rated at 385 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.5 seconds with a top speed of approximately 180 MPH. Optional performance features include the Sport Chrono Package Plus and PASM Sport Suspension. This example has been upgraded with steel 997.2 Turbo brakes, and the seller states that all maintenance is up to date. Approximately one year ago, a Porsche service center performed an oil change, cooling system service, transmission service, and a thorough vehicle inspection.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and a toolkit, along with the original steering wheel, brake calipers, and brake rotors.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I have always stored it in a climate-controlled garage here in California. All maintenance is up to date. Two modifications have been made to the car since I purchased it. Used Factory (997.2) steel turbo brakes with red calipers that match nicely with the red interior seatbelts. Caliper anchor bolts are the proper size and in excellent or new condition. New brake rotors, pads, and sensors were installed. I have done the above mods for the coolness factor. I installed all new Michelin tires about a year ago. I had an oil change, cooling system service, transmission service, and a thorough vehicle inspection performed at a Porsche service and repair center about a year ago. Have an invoice. The left rear (driver's) lens assembly was just replaced with an OEM unit, due to a foggy backup lamp area. I am happy to supply a defective lens assembly, if desired. I have driven the vehicle only lightly over my years of ownership. I have never tracked the vehicle!”

Hi,
Thanks for drawing that to my attention.
All Vehicle panels are between 3.3 and 4.6 mills.
No body panels have been repainted that I’m aware of.
Vehicle has clean Carfax.
Nice example, should have paid more attention and come by to see this one. I don't see any paint meter readings. Have any of the body panels been painted or repaired?

@Pat68 Sorry I’m not resolving your issue.
With only 22 hours left in the auction that’s the best I can do. It’s unfortunate you didn’t ask earlier as I’m sure I could’ve obtain the information you needed.
If you look at the under car pictures, the patina speaks to the originality of the engine components.
Thank you
@Randolpho Hi, please see posted invoices. I’ve also answered that question in the comments. Thank you.

Thanks but it's not solving my issue...
@Pat68 Hi,
I’ll start off by saying I believe this vehicle to be 100% stock. Except for the mods I’ve already described in the vehicle description.
Again, which are, steel turbo, brakes, (front and rear), and paddle shift steering wheel. Both off 997.2 turbo vehicle.
I am out of town and getting you the numbers you request, that’s just not going to happen.
However, I can arrange ,is for you to send your expert in to examine my vehicle. . I have absolutely no objection whatsoever to have an expert come in and look it over . Once they see it trust me they will not be disappointed.
If you’re OK with that, message me your phone number and I will text you the location where my car can be seen and examined…
Thanks ..

These seats only adjust Ford and back.
I live in Northern California, Marin county area. If you want to see the car, message me your phone number and I will text you the address where the car can be seen.
Thanks.
Hi bradhunt123,
I’m 1st timer here too. If local is there a way to see in person ?
Hi bradhunt123,
As you stated, the seats can be adjusted Forward & Backward ONLY. That’s said, there is no adjustment on Up & Down (height level) .
Is this correct ?
Thanks Randolpho. That's the way that I read it also.
@Sevenwood only oil change noted was at 27K
Bid in the amount of $40,000
Bid in the amount of $35,250
@spring2010 Hi, yes, the original calipers and rotors come with the vehicle.
Also, the original steering wheel comes with a vehicle.
Thanks
@Sevenwood Hi ,
In my opinion, there are no significant scrapes on the undercarriage of the body.
@Bonanzajock Hi,
Turbo “steel” brake differences that I noticed;
Front calipers quite a bit larger, front rotors, slightly larger.
Rear calipers are about the same size, rear rotors quite a bit larger.
I don’t have exact specs on the exact measurements for above. Recommend researching if it’s relevant.
@Porsche9972 Hi,
Yes, you can view the vehicle at its current location.
comment me your phone number and I will text you its location.
Thanks
Bid in the amount of $35,000
Disregard question, the answer is yes and is already included in the description. Should have read more carefully the first time!
Do the original calipers come with the car?
We’re the original brakes and calipers on the 4S smaller than the Turbo brakes?
Very attractive car. Any more detailed info oil/filter change frequency etc? Also, are those scrapes on the undercarriage photos? Thanks. Sevenwood.
first-timer here- if local is there a way to see it in person.
Bid in the amount of $30,000
@SkyBlueSky Hi, I have had no issues with the PDK transmission.
Have you had any issues with the first generation PDK transmission in this 911?
Thanks for your replies !
@Pat68 Purchased used.
@Nprest2 Hi,
I’ve been offered north of 15 k for the CF Seats..
Guys, I would not let these seats deter anyone from buying they’re a huge asset. Buy the car, sell the seats for $15k, put whatever seats you want, make $7k plus in the process
@Pat68 those seats alone are worth ~15k+ take a look at some past auctions. But yes they could be taken out and swapped for sport or comfort seats and could make a bunch of $ in the process on the seat swap
Dear bradhunt123,
I am not a fan of these seats (question of taste) - and color of the seatbelts. Do you know if it's possible to change for standard ones ?
Second question - sorry if I missed the information - did you purchased it new ?
Cheers,
Patrick
@SkyBlueSky Just a thought, you might want contact your local Porsche dealer.. They may be able to answer your question.
Thanks for the compliment on the seats. They are an extremely desirable factory option.
@bradhunt123 I wish I knew if they went back far enough! Unfortunately, I have no way of trying it out. I love the carbon fiber seats, though. Really nice 4S!
Those are the Factory (carbon fiber) seats
Not sure if Vehicle seating will configure to your body measurements..
I’m also concerned about the sport bucket seats, as I typically need a fair amount of adjusting for comfort (I’m 6‘6“ tall). Do the original seats come with the car, or was that done by an earlier owner that didn’t forward the original seats on?
Hi, the steering wheel, however does, does have up-and-down movement…
Hi, Forward and backward only.
Are the sport seats adjustable? My wife is short and in many cars she needs to adjust them up to see over the dash.
Thanks,
Bid in the amount of $12,000
