The second-generation Porsche 997 (997.2) was launched for the 2009 model year featuring significant updates including larger flat-six engines with direct fuel injection. This Carrera 4S Coupe comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic over Black leather and features a 6-speed manual transmission. It was also selected with 19” Turbo wheels, 5mm wheel spacers, dynamic cornering lights, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and much more. With just over 40k miles showing on the odometer, this one-owner C4S is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Georgia.
This 997.2 comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic and can be distinguished as a 4S from the standard Carrera by its wide fenders, red brake calipers, and signature reflector band connecting the taillights. Optional equipment includes dynamic cornering lights, 5mm wheel spacers, and 19” Turbo wheels. The wheels have been finished in black and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The cabin presents Black standard leather upholstery with optional heated seats, Porsche-crested headrests, and black floor mats. Other options include the Bose High-End Sound Package, Bluetooth phone interface, XM Radio, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine with direct fuel injection, generating up to 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.5 seconds. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus allows the driver to optimize engine performance characteristics, and the optional Sport Shifter provides shorter more direct gear changes. The CARFAX report shows a total of 24 service history entries.

@sclinch1 Than you for mentioning that. That’s actually a mistake on the posts. There is no sport/short shift on the vehicle. It is all stock. Iv posted the build sheet to clarify that. Currently out of town, but trying to call a favor to get you guys a DME.
@kangamatt No paint protection that we know of. Just the PPF on the rear fenders.
The description details a sport shifter. I do not see this checking the build sheet - was this added after or is this an error? Do you have an over-rev DME report?
@ozmilkman , zooming in on photos it looks like the tires are from 2016 and 2017 - they likely should be replaced at this point due to age if so.

@jscortes191 - 997.2 C4S 6MT - gotta love it! Could you please post photos of the cv axle boots? Did you guys freshen up any of the paint on panels during reconditioning? Any prior paintwork? Another commenter asked paint blemishes - are you able to describe those? Lighting and angles shown in photos is challenging to determine those. Thanks and GLWA conclusion tomorrow.

@997.2seeker Open to ppi but with less than 30 hrs left that will be hard to coordinate. Will post pictures of undercarriage and blemishes shortly. The cold start vid should be up any minute.
