Finished in Black over a two-tone Black and Terracotta leather interior, this 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4S Coupe is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission connected to its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. It was originally sold from Manhattan Motorcars at a sticker price of over $106k, including an optional limited-slip rear differential lock, 19” Sport Design wheels, Power Comfort Seats, a Makassar wood-trimmed steering wheel, stainless-steel door entry guards, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and rear ParkAssist. Acquired by the seller in August 2025, this C4S is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania with approximately 34k miles showing on the odometer.

The 4S features wider bodywork than a contemporary Carrera, along with a unique reflector band spanning the rear decklid. Finished in Black, this example is equipped with bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights and daytime running lights, red brake calipers, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, rear parking sensors, and quad exhaust outlets. The optional 19” Sport Design wheels are dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires showing date codes from 2020 in the front and 2022 in the rear, with approximately 8/32” of tread depth all around. Some signs of road-going wear are noted on the front end, and the passenger quarter panel and front fender were previously refinished. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor damage to the right side in 2021.

The cabin showcases two-tone Black and Terracotta leather upholstery complemented by aluminum-look trim pieces, an Alcantara headliner, and an optional Makassar wood-trimmed leather steering wheel. Other accessories include heated Power Comfort Seats with driver memory, stainless steel door entry guards, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and the Bose High-End Sound Package. An aftermarket MR12Volt Bluetooth interface has been installed.

Featuring integrated dry sump lubrication, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, and direct fuel injection, the 3.8-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 385 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip rear differential lock. Standard performance features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and 13” cross-drilled rotors with fixed 4-piston brakes at each corner. The engine has also been modified with an IPD intake plenum. The seller notes that the drive and serpentine belts were replaced in 2023, and an oil change and brake fluid flush were carried out in preparation for the sale.

This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for taking a look at this great spec, 6-speed manual, 2009 Porsche 997.2 C4S Coupe! The 997.2 manuals are hard to come by, let alone in an interesting spec and a C4S trim level!”

@Orangeman awesome thank you. In for the noises

It’s been proven time and time again that those plenums do absolutely nothing, except allow you to fit a 997.2 gt3 big more throttle body, which gets you glorious, glorious intake noise. The factory map on the car is more than capable running it just fine. If you did get a big bore throttle body you’d probably want a tune. A midpile delete and tune on this car is totally worth it anyways, as the dfi cars actually do gain something with one.

Does anyone know if a modified intake plenum requires a tune? And if so how to check if this ecu is tuned

@CoolClassicsIntl Hello @CoolClassicsIntl did you have a chance to watch the paint meter video? We intentionally shot it in wide angle format so could tell which panel is being measured.

  • CoolClassicsIntl (registered bidder) 2 days, 4 hoursago

Can we see paint meter readings? With the camera far enough back to identify the part of the car that’s being measured please.

For those that are not familiar with ignition reports, this car shows 583 ignitions in range 1 and 0 ignitions in ranges 2-6. This is a very good ignition report. There is a formula that allows the # of ignitions to be tuned into seconds so one can see how long a car has spent in a particular range. In this cars case, it has spent only 1.6 seconds in range 1 and 0 seconds in ranges 2-6.

    Here is the formula:

    Number of ignitions / 3 = number of engine revolutions = 194

Number of revolutions / by rev limiter (7,300 for range 1 on a 997)= minutes spent at limiter = .026

Minutes spent at limiter x 60 = seconds spent at limiter = 1.59 seconds

    I hope this helps!
