Marking the launch year of the updated 997.2 generation and its improved direct fuel-injected engines, this 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet was also among the first to feature the optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. It comes finished in Black over a matching interior with heated and ventilated leather seats as well as a heated steering wheel and Sport Chrono Package Plus. It was acquired by the current owner at 18k miles about 5 years ago and has been treated to routine oil changes ever since. Now showing just over 43k miles, this Carrera Cabriolet is being offered for auction out of Virginia.
This 997.2 comes finished in Black with a matching cabriolet top and rides on factory 18” Carrera IV wheels. Clear paint protection film is applied over the hood and the seller states a 2-stage paint correction process was just recently completed. The rims come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires, and the seller states the front tires were mounted within the last 2k miles. The rear tires are recommended for replacement soon. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior features a pair of heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats with Driver Memory as well as a heated steering wheel, self-dimming mirrors, Bluetooth interface for mobile phones, and a Universal Audio Interface. The seller reports that the seats and cabriolet top were recently reconditioned and notes only minor signs of wear near the handbrake and ignition surround. The windshield washers to not currently spray fluid, while all other accessories are said to be working properly.
A direct fuel-injected 3.8-liter flat-six engine produces up to 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Using the launch control function provided by Sport Chrono Package Plus, this 997.2 accelerates from 0 to 60 MPH in approximately 4.5 seconds. The seller reports the car received routine oil and filter changes since their purchase about 5 years ago.
This sale will include a clean title.

@pdouglas the leather is fully intact and no discoloration. Might be from putting groceries in the back seat
@pdouglas no one has ever smoked in the car. Have never had a car seat in the rear seats. Not sure where those ripples came from
Has the car ever been smoked in? Are the indents in the back seat from a car seat or something else or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Thanks!
@53ND_ND35 just to be sure...the windshield wipers work. It just won't spray the fluid
@53ND_ND35 I do not have any of the original paperwork. I do have most of the paperwork from when I had the car serviced. 2 keys come with the car. I believe I paid about $600 for 2 rear tires last time I purchased them. No idea on the wiper fluid...could be just a fuse, lose wire or burned out motor. If would've had it fixed but no place could get me in before the auction began.
Thanks. Do you have any original documentation or the window sticker? Any service documents? How many keys? Any idea of cost for new rear tires or to fix wiper flow?
@53ND_ND35 unfortunately I'm away from the car and won't be able to get you that before the auction closes. All I can do is assure you the opening and closing operates perfectly. Sorry
Short notice before auction expires, but do you have a pre-purchase inspection? Can you post a video of top opening/closing?
Full transparency. It’s a 3.6L engine, 0-60 in 4.7.
