The high-performance version of Pontiac’s Solstice roadster, the GXP was introduced in 2006 with a 2.0L turbocharged Ecotec inline four-cylinder engine, a limited-slip differential, Stabilitrak traction control, and a sport-tuned suspension with Bilstein dampers. This 2009 roadster was ordered in Wicked (Merlot Jewel Metallic) over an Ebony leather interior and was optioned with a 5-speed automatic transmission, the Premium Package, air conditioning, 18” chrome wheels, a 7-speaker Monsoon audio system, an AM/FM radio with an auxiliary input and 6-CD changer, and a rear spoiler. It was delivered new to Ricky Smith Pontiac of Weymouth, Massachusetts, and remains under the care of its original owner. Showing approximately 5830 miles on the odometer, this 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP roadster is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of Connecticut.
The exterior is finished in Merlot Jewel Metallic (89) with a tan convertible soft top. Equipment includes a reverse-hinged decklid, an optional rear spoiler, tinted glass, integrated foglights, a silver windscreen surround, silver rear fairing trim, and dual chrome exhaust tips. The seller reports the finish has received the application of a protective ceramic coating, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The optional chrome 18” five-spoke wheels are mounted with the original Goodyear Eagle F1 tires displaying date codes from 2008.
The cabin is upholstered in Ebony leather, and features bucket seats with white contrast stitching and embroidered GXP logos in the backrests. The optional Premium Package equips a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, a matching gear shifter, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally selected options consist of air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, a 6-CD changer, an auxiliary jack, and a 7-speaker Monsoon audio system. Amenities include full power accessories, remote keyless entry, sport metallic pedals, GXP-branded floor mats, Solstice door sill plates, cruise control, a driver’s information center, and a rear glass window with a defroster.
The Solstice GXP is powered by a 2.0L Ecotec inline-four with direct injection that was factory rated at 260 HP and 260 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 5-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 158 MPH. Performance features include Stabilitrak traction control, a sport-tuned suspension with Bilstein dampers, and 4-wheel antilock brakes. The CARFAX report details a history of dealership maintenance since new, and the last recorded entry shows the battery was checked by Gallagher Buick/GMC of New Britain, CT, in 2019.
This sale will include 2 keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, a car cover, a battery charger, and extensive service records.

@manuals4ever Hi I love a manual transmission but have many automatics as well. Like many of the cabrios there are options for temporary luggage. Trunk racks etc. To get those looks sometimes rolling art has its obstacles. Thanks
Bid in the amount of $10,521
Wow, I really like the looks of this.
But I've two issues keeping me from bidding
1- not a manual and 2- no luggage space.
I would like to use for fun weekend trips, but clearly no room with the top down :-(
GLWTA!

@pfarias Hi, there are shipping companies that can ship anywhere, closed trailer, open trailer. We can help set this up, thanks.
Hi, are you able to ship to California?
@DrivingImage - Oh yeah, forgot that happens with low mileage from year to year..
@mcorliss3456 When the battery goes low the car needs a few drive cycles to activate the readiness monitors, and it was driven in and tested before the monitors were ready.
That’s a good looking car in a great color!!
Quick question: what caused the car to fail the emissions tests a couple of years according to the CarFax?
@PaisleyPrincess Not an issue, you click the box that says contact seller below the grey box with the mileage, VIN, etc, and above the start of the gallery.
@DrivingImage Had to sound less than smart, but how do I send you a direct message on this platform?
PaisleyPrincess Send us a direct message and we will contact you with our location and phone number
