This second-generation 2009 Mini Cooper S Convertible comes finished in Horizon Blue Metallic over a Hot Chocolate Lounge Leather interior and derives power from a turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine. The car is said to have been cared for by only one owner and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada while showing approximately 39k miles on the odometer.
The second-generation Mini Cooper was designed in conjunction by BMW Group and Italdesign Giugiaro of Turin, and was produced at BMW’s Plant Oxford in Cowley, Britain. It features a distinct design with an air intake scoop on the clamshell bonnet, classic round headlamps, front fender vents, black wheel arch flares, chrome door handles, and a continuous chrome accent line that wraps around the lower windshield, upper door panels, and rear hatch. This Cooper S Convertible is finished in Horizon Blue Metallic and features sport bumpers with black honeycomb grilles and twin center tailpipes as well as a retractable brown soft top. It rides on Crown Spoke light alloy wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with premium Hot Chocolate Lounge Leather upholstery featuring deviated cream seat piping as well as black carpeting and gloss black trim pieces. Accessories include a distinctive central-mounted speedometer, “Mini Cooper S” stainless steel treadplates, aluminum alloy foot pedals, an engine start button, automatic climate control, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel in black leather.
The Cooper S comes equipped with a 1.6-liter N14 inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine featuring a twin-scroll turbocharger and direct fuel injection. Up to 172 HP and 177 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the front wheels by way of a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted shift paddles. Standard features include speed-sensitive power steering and ventilated disc brakes. The seller states all maintenance is up to date and a complete collection of service records accompanies the sale.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

One more detail.
The Carfax shows two owners. The car has had one single owner who leased it and then bought the car once the lease was over.
So it is a one owner car since new.
The Pod on the left hand of the tachometer is a standard pod on all MINI cabriolets as of the R57 chassis (2009 onwards) called the Openometer.
It calculates the number of hours spent in the car with the engine running and the convertible top open. It is basically to entice Motorers to open their convertible top any chance they got.
Another feature to add to the quirkiness of a MINI.
@Chamberlin Good Eyes. Typo, Admin will trim: odo shows 38910 Miles.
Dashboard says 38,910 mls not kms... which is it?
Also, what is the side pod gauge to the left of the tachometer? I did not see mention of it...
