Available for auction is this 2009 Lexus SC 430 finished in Starfire Pearl over a tan leather interior. The second-generation Lexus SC debuted in 2000 and was developed from the ground up as a convertible luxury grand tourer. It features a double-wishbone suspension setup, wind-tunnel-developed styling, a power-retractable hardtop, and a 4.3L V8 engine with VVT-I variable valve timing. Acquired by the seller in July of 2021 and previously listed on PCARMARKET, this Lexus has since undergone timing belt and water pump service and is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 46k miles on the odometer.
The styling of the SC coupe was largely inspired by yachting design with special emphasis placed on aerodynamics for a comfortable top-down driving experience. This SC 430 comes finished in Starfire Pearl with a power-retractable aluminum hardtop, HID headlamps, LED tail lamps, and a dual exhaust system with chrome finishers. The car has been garage-kept by the current owner and the finish is described to be in very good condition overall, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The 18” alloy wheels were mounted with new Bridgestone tires in 2021.
The cabin features 10-way power-adjustable heated front seats trimmed in tan leather with wood veneers on the door panels, dashboard, and center console. Amenities include the premium Mark Levinson sound system, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, factory tinted water repellent glass, and a 3-spoke wood & leather-trimmed power tilting and telescoping steering wheel.
The naturally aspirated 3UZ-FE V8 engine sends up to 288 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed automatic transmission. The SC 430 features a double-wishbone suspension for the front and rear as well as variable-assist power steering. The seller has provided an invoice for service completed in August of 2021 including new air and cabin filters, brake rotors, wiper blades, an oil change, coolant flush, and differential fluid flush. More recently in February of 2022, a timing belt and water pump service were completed along with the replacement of the battery and thermostat.
This sale will include the original owner's manuals, a toolkit, and a clean title. With its reputation for comfort and stellar reliability, the SC 430 provides an excellent value for any driver in search of a luxurious roadster.

Apologize for the question, yet I can't see on Carfax that you ever took title of the vehicle. Who's name is title in, what state and what dealer in Virginia did you purchase. If I purchase I want make positive good title for Virginia DMV, thanks

Gorgeous car should bring north of 33k. GLWTA but you won’t need it. I have a 2003 one owner with 34500 miles not sure if I’m keeping it as it’s my 6th SC so I think I beat both of you guys for being crazy.
yes the serpentine belt was also serviced . i will up load the invoice showing the timing belt tensioners water pump. i will also correct to 6 speed transmission thanks for the correction.
I stand to be corrected, yet I think the service records indicate a change in the serpentine driving belt, not the internal timing belt!
The 2009 has a 6 speed transmission, not a 5 as stated!
Thank You Starkermann for the information on the SC430. The car was in beautiful condition when i bought it. You took excellent care of it. My intention was to transport the car to Florida to my second residence. I was told its a good idea to do the timing belt due to age not mileage .
plans changed I haven’t put 200 miles on it since i purchased it. I am also a certified nut. this is a great car in like new condition. the factory new mats you sold with the car are still in the trunk.I did all the service and new tires before i was sending to Florida. The wheels are beautiful i didn’t know they were Pebble Beach Edition. Thanks Again for the history.
I was the second owner of this car for several years. It was my wife's car. I am a certified car nut and pampered the car obsessively. Don't think you can find a better one on the planet in 2022. Don't understand some of the additional work done on it recently, but it is a wonderful car. My wife drove it like an old woman and all fluids were changed each and every year. The wheels are Pebble Beach Edition which I bought new since I didn't like the regular wheels.

Bid in the amount of $6,500
What a looker! Fewer and fewer of these and they represent Lexus well.
Have you noticed any leaks, rattles, unusual sounds, or smells?
All gauges work properly?
Cold AC?
Thanks for your time!

I decided to change the timing belt tensioner water pump and flush the cooling system as a preventive service. I have the actual timing belt and all other parts. The belt was in good condition. The car is in beautiful condition and all factory services were performed. It has new rotors brakes tires and runs perfect. IT IS A NICE AS THE PICTURES!
Bid in the amount of $6,000
45000 miles seems early for timing belt and water pump. Why was this service performed please?
