Many enthusiasts would agree that the 997.2 is one of the greatest water-cooled 911’s to drive and own. Free of IMS issues, the 997.2 is equipped with direct fuel injection and hydraulic power steering, providing for a sensational driving experience. This 2009 Carrera 4S features a handful of desirable factory options and is now being offered for auction in excellent overall condition by its seller in Texas.
The black paint on this 4S is reported to be in excellent condition with an application of ceramic coating to the entire exterior surface. As a 4S model, this Carrera features wider rear quarter panels that give it a more aggressive stance. Additionally, the seller implemented a 911 Turbo front splitter for a sportier look. This Carrera rides on factory 19” Turbo wheels that are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Inside, you will notice a desirable two-tone black and terracotta leather interior. This combination is seldom found on other Carrera models making this example that much more special. Overall, the interior is stated to be in excellent condition with the only flaw being slight wear to the driver seat. With an MSRP of over $115k, this C4S came loaded with options such as:
This Carrera 4S is equipped with a 3.8 L flat-six-cylinder engine that produces approximately 380 HP. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a smooth PDK automatic transmission. The Carrera 4S model is known for its utilization of upgraded performance parts to differentiate itself from standard models. This includes a world-class all-wheel drive system, lowered suspension featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 19-inch Turbo wheels, larger upgraded brakes from the 911 Turbo, and red brake calipers. A recent service has been performed including an oil/filter change making this Carrera mechanically up-to-date and ready to be enjoyed. This vehicle is said to be in excellent running condition.
The sale will include books, two keys, a clean Carfax, and a clear title. If you have been on the hunt for a well-kept 997.2, look no further.

Hi All,
Please let me know if there are any other last minute questions!
Thanks!
@nav83 brakes pads have plenty of life left and the rotors are also good, no warping or anything. I would say over 50% for sure. Tires are around 50% as well.

Unfortunately now is not the time for me to bid but I am watching this with interest. You can put me in @JakeH’s “I live that red interior” group. This is exactly what I want in the medium future, so interested to see how it goes. Good luck to all!
Thanks for the reply, I know auction is ending soon but a few more quick qu, can you comment on whether the tires have much thread left and similarly the pads/rotors?
Hi, sorry for late response. Last service was the regular oil/filter change. Also, I had a new battery installed. This was done at a independent Porsche shop here in Houston. Majority of the big ticket items have been taken care of in the 40k miles service. I am unsure pdk service was not mentioned when I took it in for service. As far the car being noted white, this was just mistake by who ever was doing the titling, very common. Car matches Porsche original build sheet and that is all that matters. Only thing that was repainted is the front bumper. This was done by Mercedes Benz Orlando due to rock chips. I think I have answered all the questions here so far. Let me know if y’all have any more. Thanks.
Absolutely a lovely 2009 example - post IMS and in great condition. The tittle issue is just a clerical issue.
The inside is either a "I love that red interior - spectacular" or "what was this guy thinking" - there is no middle ground!
Good luck to the seller.....
Looks like a careless mistake by the dealer. Happened to me once with Audi, they misread miles and reported a bad number to carfax which resulted in a “miles discrepancy”. I was furious and they stated it could not be changed because it was a “legal document”. Car is notes black on the build sheet I wouldn't worry. Looks like a gorgeous car!
Can you post a photo of the actual vin plate on the car?
Discrepancy of white paint on car fax with your photos.

@nav83 I too would like to see the answers to your questions. I hope we hear back. Thank you!
Hi, I'm pretty interested in your Carrera 4S and live locally in Texas. I do have a few questions. 1) Can you detail or upload what exactly was done on the last service and if there was any other comprehensive inspection done as part of that service? Has a PDK/transmission service ever been performed on this vehicle and when? 3) Can you post the latest CarFax as the last entry is from 2017 and no further information is available? Additionally on vehicle registration, the vehicle color is noted as being white? Please account for the discrepancy.
4) Can you confirm that to your knowledge that the car has not been re-painted or re-sprayed on any panels or bumpers?
Thanks

I've seen this interior color in person recently and it was stunning. Only wish I could have such a beautiful example on my 996 budget.
