We are pleased to present this 2009 Audi R8 finished in Ice Silver Metallic with a removable, yellow-accented charcoal grey vinyl wrap. Sharing its high-performance platform and sought-after 6-speed gated manual transmission with the Lamborghini Gallardo, this first generation 4.2 FSI V8 R8 has been recently converted to rear-wheel drive and upgraded with a full titanium exhaust system, BC coil-overs, and an SSR tune for a claimed output of 500 HP. Currently showing approximately 38k miles on the odometer, this R8 is now being offered for auction by its owner out of California.
The Ice Silver Metallic paint is said to remain in great condition under a removable charcoal grey vinyl wrap with yellow accents. A couple of small road-going chips are said to be present underneath the wrap on the front bonnet (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Other modifications include OEM carbon fiber side blades, yellow-painted brake calipers, and forged 19” Stance wheels that come dressed in Pirelli P-Zero tires retaining approximately 90% tread in front and 50% in the rear. The original wheels are also said to be included in the sale.
Inside this R8, you will find a black leather interior stated to be in excellent condition. This nicely optioned example features an Alcantara headliner, a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, backup camera, navigation, DVD player, parking sensors, and heated mirrors with fold-in function. All gauges and electrical components are reported to be fully functional.
Showcased under a glass cover is a naturally aspirated 4.2 L Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI) V8 engine paired with a coveted 6-speed manual gearbox. The Quattro system has been converted to an agile rear-wheel-drive configuration, and all original components will are said to be included to revert back to AWD. Other modifications include a Rev9 titanium exhaust system, BC coilovers, a K&N air filter, and an SSR engine tune that is said to provide for an output of approximately 500 HP compared with 420 HP stock. Recent maintenance items performed within the last 5k miles include new front brake pads and rotors, an oil service, and a brake fluid flush. Service records are included from the current owner and this R8 is said to be in fantastic running order.
This R8 will be accompanied by a clean title and flat-tire kit. If you have been in search of a supercar with a visceral manual gearbox, this tastefully upgraded first-generation R8 is not to be missed.

@993David Hello, Miles on all the mods or just the tune? I don’t understand the SSR question? I don’t have lap times, I’ve never taken this r8 to the race track.
Any cold start and driving videos available?
@seller how many miles have been added since the mods and do you have any lap times at Laguna, Willow Springs or Sonoma? I also couldn't find any information on SSRs tune for anything prior to 2017. Can you post anything? R8 is a great platform.
