@Foxtrot PCAR added the photos I sent them. The owner said they were installed at AR in Stratford. I don't have the invoice available with 3 mins left. The car has no cracks and no issues.
@HK_Motorcars Is there a service invoice listed for the reinforcement updates? If so, which picture number is it?
just to follow up... looking closer at the photo, it doesn't appear that it ever cracked, but the reinforcement doesn't appear to be there. however, just so people know, it's an easy add and is probably a $300 job (parts are about $40 each). and full disclosure, i do intend to bid on this car. GLWA
@HK_Motorcars thank you for the photo. sorry, for the confusion here. it appears the frame reinforcement brackets were not installed, but that a crack was welded and fixed. is that correct? same fix on the other side?
@HK_Motorcars photos have been added
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@HAWKSPAR Yes the upgrades were made and installed by Automotive Restorations in Stratford CT.
very clean looking car. can you confirm that this does not have the frame damage that is a concern on pre-2011 models? any chance the Audi strengtheners have been added to the frame already?
Bid in the amount of $55,000
@Foxtrot no it never had a supercharger.
@HK_Motorcars Thank you. So is it plausible that this car once had a supercharger installed?
PS: I don't care about the radio... ;-)
@Foxtrot 2116 on 3 and 2816 on 1. Installed same time as a set.
@Grandy99 correct. At this time the car is stock. There is no flash on the ECU. It’s stock as stated. It has been stock now for a few years. The receipts are there for transparency. The car is stock as stated. Again no flash at this time.
@mickpucc I am not sure why you are so focused on the stereo. Are you interested in the car? The car currently has an alpine with apple car play. That is the stereo it comes with. It also comes with the OEM unit of you want to swap it back. You have not tried to call me about the car.
@HK_Motorcars , if there are no mods, why is there an invoice from VF engineering for an ECU in pic#193, and also the $17K invoice from Performance Outfitters in pic#191 shows "remove ECU for PES flash". Can we get some answers from the owner?
@HK_Motorcars You show a photo of the original Audi infotainment screen that was removed from the car. Behind that photo is a box for a Kenwood Excelon radio. But you say that a Kenwood radio was not installed and that the $17000 receipt that charges for a Kenwood unit was actually for the installation of an "ipad". And current photos now show that there is an Alpine radio installed the car. Quite a story. Will there be a screenplay as well?
@Blubusdrvr I am not sure why PCAR posted the wrong wheels. The receipts are totally inline about the stereo. Nothing being hidden.
@mickpucc yes that was the cost for that install. Their iPad installs were from 15 to 25k each.
Bizarre combination of receipts, pictures of wrong parts and vague answers to questions so far. Making popcorn...
@HK_Motorcars Thank you for the reply and your saying that you're happy to answer any questions; So, for the third time I ask this unanswered question - What was done at Performance Outfitters on 2010 that was invoiced for $17,000? Surely installing an ipad wasn't the only thing done to run up such a spectacular tab!
@Grandy99 no performance mods. Went to a few SCDA days and a few in MA. The car is not a track rat.
@HK_Motorcars can you tell us how often the car was used for track? Why was there no mention of the ECU mods made?
@mickpucc I am happy to answer anyones questions. The factory unit was removed for an IPAD install. That’s the Performance outfitters receipt. The one that includes Kenwood parts. It has since been removed. It now has an Alpine head unit in it. Many people have taken the time to call to discuss the car with very constructive questions that focused on the condition of the car itself. I am getting tire born on dates later today.
@HK_Motorcars OK, so, you are saying that an ipad was installed before the Alpine, and that the invoice for the Kenwood installation is incorrect? What was the $17000 invoice from Performance Outfitters For? You seem to be trying to avoid answering these questions.
@mickpucc correction. Correction. The car originally had an IPad installed for the infotainment. That was removed and the Alpine was installed.
What are the date codes for each of the tires?
Bid in the amount of $44,000
Bid in the amount of $22,009
@HK_Motorcars You show an Invoice from Performance Outfitters dated 2/15/2010 for the installation of a Kenwood radio. The line item costs total about $4000, but the invoice total on the bottom is $17,448.00. The pictures of the car shows an Alpine radio. What was the $17000 spent on? Very confusing.
@mickpucc no the radio was only done one time. The invoice was done wrong for the final mods. The Alpha tire photo will be taken down by PCAR.
Why are you showing a photo of four Alfa Romeo Wheels and Tires?
You show a receipt for a Kenwood radio but there is an Alpine Radio in the car. Did you change the radio twice?
The attached Carfax is for a Porsche Panamera. A number of other invoices may not apply to this vehicle. Please check and confirm if all are applicable or not.
