As part of Aston Martin's lineup of agile sports cars, the V8 Vantage debuted with a bonded aluminum structure and a hand-assembled V8 quad-cam engine. The 2009 model year brought enhancements, including a larger 4.7-liter V8 with upgraded dry-sump lubrication, a stiffened suspension, and 20-spoke alloy wheels. Equipped with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, this V8 Vantage Roadster comes finished in Onyx Black over Phantom Grey leather upholstery. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Maryland with fewer than 23k miles showing on the odometer.
Designed by Henrik Fisker, the V8 Vantage features a hatchback-style tailgate, swan wing doors, bonnet grilles, and traditional straked vents on the front fenders. This Roadster comes finished in Onyx Black with a matching convertible soft top, complemented by bright-finished trim, red-painted brake calipers, and gloss black 20-spoke alloy wheels. The seller notes that a ceramic coating has been applied. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Phantom Grey leather with Raven Black stitching, an Obsidian Black leather-wrapped steering wheel, and Graphite Finish accents. Features include heated power-adjustable sport seats, front and rear parking sensors, automatic climate control, pushbutton ignition, a 6-disc CD changer, Aston Martin Premium Audio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a navigation module. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order, with no warning lights illuminated.
This 2009 V8 Vantage is equipped with a 4.7-liter quad-cam 32-valve V8 engine rated at 420 HP and 346 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller adds that a recent service and state inspection has been completed, with no outstanding maintenance items reported.
This sale will include a clean title, a crystal key, and owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a rare 6-speed low-mileage Aston that has been garaged when not in use and well maintained. The car has a clean CARFAX, recent service, two keys including the crystal key, books, upgraded 20" factory wheels, and high-speed radials. This will make a great addition to anyone's collection, perfect for beach drives, dinners, cruise nights, or cars and coffee. Don’t miss out on this rare 6-speed V8 Vantage convertible!”

@JAM2 buyers are free to bid according to their discernment and how they value the vehicle. Many have their own style of bidding and it certainly keeps things interesting. We have learned not to assume bad intentions are at play.
What's the point of bidding so far below a reserve level? Car's value is obviously higher than where we are...

I will never understand the large jumps in bidding. Schill bids to drive up the price to reach the reserve?

As we near the final hours of the auction please ask any and all questions so that I am able to answer them in a timely manor. Six speed Vantage's are truly rare and this one is a beautiful example that will not disappoint.
We look forward to the end of the auction and this beautiful Aston having a new owner!
