For the 2005 model year, the Vantage debuted as the leanest and most agile GT sports car in Aston Martin’s lineup featuring a two-seat layout and lightweight bonded aluminum structure. This 2009 example benefits from a significant update introduced the prior model year, including a larger and more powerful engine, revised Sportshift transmission tuning, and a stiffened suspension. Finished in Tungsten Silver over Black leather with red contrast stitching, it is further equipped with the desirable Sports Pack and a 6-speed manual transmission. Stored inside a climate-controlled garage, this V8 Vantage is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 29k miles showing on the odometer.
Designed by Henrik Fisker, the V8 Vantage features a hatchback-style tailgate, swan-wing doors, bonnet grilles, and straked vents along the front fenders. This coupe is finished in the metallic shade of Tungsten Silver and retains its factory 19” staggered-width 5-spoke wheels as part of the optional Sports Pack. Additionally, a 2012 model rear spoiler and diffuser have been fitted, while the original components will accompany the sale. Paint protection film has been applied to the front end and ahead of the rear wheel arches, with two minor imperfections in the film about the size of a pencil tip. The paint has also been treated with a ceramic coating. The car rides on older tires, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with black leather upholstery complemented by red contrast stitching. A factory navigation system was selected, and standard features include power-adjustable sport seats, front and rear parking sensors, automatic climate control, pushbutton ignition, and a 6-disc CD changer. Notable accessories retained with the car include the original Aston Martin pen housed in the dashboard receptacle, the original $1,800 crystal key, and the factory Aston Martin umbrella, which remains secured in the trunk’s leather straps. The gear shift lever has been upgraded to a more refined DB9-style piece, while the original lever is included in a box. The door sill plates have also been replaced with carbon fiber units; the original sills are wrapped and included with the sale. Additionally, lifetime SiriusXM satellite radio is equipped.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter quad-cam 32-valve V8 engine, the V8 Vantage delivers up to 420 HP and 346 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This example is equipped with the optional Sports Pack, which includes a lowered ride height, a thicker front sway bar, and stiffer springs for improved handling. The seller notes that the original clutch was replaced with a desirable dual-faced clutch upgrade, a lightweight flywheel has been installed, and the catalytic converters have been upgraded to 200-cell free-flow units. The original catalytic converters are included with the sale, bubble-wrapped for preservation. The CARFAX report lists a total of 13 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, an air pump, a car cover, a battery charger, and some original parts.

@rhart I don’t see any records showing the clutch upgrade. Can you post them?
@dgpnaples Good Morning DGP
Your first sentence is why despite being a Porsche guy I've owned 3 Vantage V8's. Beauty and sound.
And I came to learn that they are every bit as problem free as a 911.
The service at 28,000 miles may have worked on the AC but I don't recall ever servicing it specifically and yet it works fine and still blows nice and cold. You asked about the service done at that time. Please scroll to the end of the photos to see a shot of that particular work order.
Nice looking car and sounds great with the manual shifting. Has the ac been serviced and does it work properly? Is there any items on the car that does not work? I see that the spark plugs were changed at 28,025 miles. What other service was completed at that time? Were the belts, filters, oil serviced at the same time? Beautiful car, you have my attention.
@drcollie drcollie is spot on. I am mainly a Porsche guy, but I found the Aston Martin to be every bit as bulletproof as a 911 perhaps even more so. I think the navigation was designed around 1920 or so I mainly used my iPhone for NAV, which is why I have that iPhone holder installed on the vent. You definitely have to crank your neck when backing up fortunately, I found myself in one of the forward gears most of the time😉
@stevwang The plugs were replaced at 28,025

has the spark plugs been changed? if so, when? Thanks in advance, I didn't see it on your maintenance records.
I owned one of these for three years, they are very reliable and similar to the same period 911 in performance. Paint is tremendous (wet-sanded by hand) and you can tell the car is hand-made. More machine screws, less snap-in plastics, that sort of thing. Most the electrics are Ford/Volvo, so you can easily source parts such as turn signal flashers for far less. I love the fact the wheel wells are insulated, resulting in a quieter ride than many sports cars. Downsides? Not many. The factory Nav is archaic, the clutch on these vehicles are known to be less than robust (so no clutch drops off stoplights) and visibility to the rear is dismal, especially when parking. Other than that, a superb automobile that punches way above its price on the pre-owned market.
OK, I'll bite... What are the $30k in "upgrades?"
Welcome to the auction. I'll be available to answer any questions. This car has to be one of the most pristine Astons in the country. Fanatically maintained, there will be no disappointments when you connect with the car. It has a cool little remote to switch from loud to quiet exhaust although I just leave it on loud since it has one of the best sounds going. (See drive videos) It also has the $30,000 in mechanical upgrades the Astons owners love. Thank you for looking.
