Up for auction is this 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera Coupe finished in Carrara White over a Stone Grey leather interior. 2009 marked the first year of the .2 generation of 997, which included updates such as more efficient direct-injection engine and Porsche’s fast-shifting PDK transmission. This example comes equipped with a handful of desirable options and shows just 17k miles on the odometer. The car is now being offered for auction in excellent condition by its seller out of Florida.
The iconic Carrara White exterior is reported to be in excellent condition (detailed images are available in the photo gallery). The seller states that paint protection film was recently removed from the front-end due to yellowing. This 997.2 Carrera Coupe sits on a set of tasteful aftermarket 19” Niche wheels that are wrapped in brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The original 5-spoke Carrera wheels will be included in the sale.
Inside, the Stone Grey leather interior is also reported to be in excellent condition as can be seen in the gallery photos. All switches, buttons, and functions are in working order and the interior features noteworthy options such as the Bose High End Sound Package, Heated Steering Wheel, and Heated Front Seats. With an MSRP of over $85k, additional options include:
This 997.2 Carrera Coupe is powered by a direct-injection 3.6-liter flat-six that produces an impressive 345 HP. Power is sent sent to the rear wheels through a PDK transmission which allows this 911 to reach 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. The engine is stated to be in excellent running condition and has been properly serviced since new. A new battery has been installed with a service performed at 14k miles.
Included in the sale of this tasteful 997.2 Carrera Coupe are two keys, books, and service records.

Wow, $41K ($43K w buyer fee)...this still seems like a steal to me! I was expecting it to go for the high $40s. Was it the PDK transmission that hurt the value, or something else I missed above? (Oh yea, it's not an S either)

@Bola964 I have all service records from the previous owner and will take pics tonight and have posted for you. prior to my purchase the car was serviced by his wife after he passed that was around the 16K mark. Like i stated earlier i have put about 1000 miles on the car. I have a few cars, it is not a daily driver but it has been started and stretched around the block every month. The car is very very clean. If someone does not want the wheels, it can be sold with the originals. i need the space in warehouse for other projects that i am working on.
The maintenance might be an issue though. We’re approaching 4 years and 3k miles without one. Have you done at least an oil change and a check up during this time? Thank you!
Thank you for the pictures. I searched online and the 762 Pag launch code is nothing but saying the car is one of the first of its model designation. It’s a very early car. The original wheels are what I expected they were. Have the center crest in color, which is better than the black ones.... thanks!
Hi, I’d like to see the pics of the original wheels as well please. What does the PAG launch code include? Any issues you’d be able to share with the car? Malfunctions, accidents, stories?? Thank you!!
Thanks for your questions,
The film was removed on the spoiler, on the left front it pulled a small piece of the paint off the spoiler so i stopped, the film is still on the hood and the hips. the paint otherwise is perfect.
I have all service records from the previous owner who was a friend of mines father.
ive had the car for the last 2.5 years aprox. and put about 1000 miles on it. The car was last serviced prior to me purchasing it. i have pics of the originals and will forward
@Wdn - great looking car, clean and crisp. In picture 8 & 9 it would appear that the protective film is still on(?). Any pic's with the film removed? No issues with the paint underneath?
Do you have service records? The CarFax shows the last entry to be Jan 2017 - has any work been completed since then? Would you be able to post a picture of the original wheels? Thanks.
