Drawing inspiration from the iconic FJ40, the FJ Cruiser debuted in North America in 2007, continuing its production until 2014. Renowned for its off-road prowess, it boasts full-time four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, and a Torsen center differential. This 2008 example is finished in Voodoo Blue over black upholstery and comes equipped with 16” six-spoke alloy wheels, a roof rack, and more. This FJ is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada with approximately 265k miles (~165k miles) showing on the odometer.
The FJ Cruiser pays homage to its predecessor with a retro-inspired design, sporting a distinctive grille-headlight arrangement and "Toyota" lettering upfront. Finished in Voodoo Blue with a white-painted roof, this example boasts mud flaps, a rear window wiper, skid plates, and recently installed roof rack and running boards. It rolls on 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels with a full-size spare mounted to the swing-away tailgate. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior features washable synthetic materials and black water-resistant cloth, complemented by a grey headliner and brushed aluminum accents along the dashboard. Standard amenities consist of power windows, analog instrumentation, a three-spoke steering wheel, and grab handles mounted on the pillars. All gauges and electronics are reported to be working properly.
Power is derived from a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine, delivering up to 260 HP and 271 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission with a dual-range transfer case and locking Torsen center differential. Regular maintenance, including an oil change in February 2024 (approximately 500 miles ago), has been consistently performed on the vehicle, as noted by the seller.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The rig that you were secretly waiting for is finally available. Itch to scratch. Box to tick. It is a competent successor to the iconic FJ40 in so many ways. It had Toyota’s legendary reliability and indestructibility. Out of the box Rubicon trail ready. Looks like a toy, but is a real heavy-duty truck that will get you there in confidence. The 6-speed manual is pure bliss and its finished in a gorgeous Voodoo Blue shade. Good luck, bidders!”
