One the least common versions of the Porsche 997, this 2008 Porsche 911 Targa 4S is finished in Carrara White over Black full leather upholstery. It features a unique sliding glass roof system, optional 19” Carrera Classic wheels, red taillights, stainless-steel exhaust pipes, 5mm wheel spacers, self-dimming mirrors, a thicker three-spoke multifunction steering wheel in leather, the Parking Assist System, Bose High-End Sound Package, Power Seat Package, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Sold new at Beverly Hills Porsche and registered in California until 2020, this Targa 4S is now being offered for auction out of Texas with approximately 123k miles on the odometer.
Distinguished by a chrome accent along its roofline, the 997 Targa model features a sliding glass roof system that includes an electric interior sunshade and an opening rear hatch window. This example is finished in Carrara White and rides on optional 19” Carrera Classic wheels with 5mm spacers. Other equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, headlamp washers, fog lights, self-dimming mirrors, parking sensors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, optional red taillights, red brake calipers, and quad stainless-steel exhaust outlets. The car is equipped with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires dated from 2016. Some rock chips and touch-up paint spots are noted on the front bumper. The cabin features Black full leather upholstery including optional heated power-adjustable seats and a thicker three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The seller indicates the Sport, PASM, PSM, and rear spoiler control buttons were repaired at Porsche Plano.
The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a shiftable 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The car is equipped with Sport Chrono Package Plus which includes Sport and Sport Plus modes for the powertrain and PASM suspension. The CARFAX report shows the most recent service at Porsche Grapevine in October 2024, and the seller notes the brakes are due for replacement soon. @Kulrevon Dallas was a little chillier than normal on the day I took the cold start and driving videos. Never had any issues with TPMS prior. I can upload photo of emissions readiness codes.

I didnt see any mention on why the TPMS light was on? Also saw that the emission readiness codes were not Set during the PPI.
