This 2008 Porsche 987 Cayman S is finished in Speed Yellow over a Sea Blue interior, featuring a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.4-liter flat-six engine. It was sold new from McKenna Porsche of Norwalk, California, and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon with just over 25k miles on the odometer.
This 987 is factory finished in Speed Yellow and rides on 18” Cayman S wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. Compared to a standard Cayman, the “S” version can be identified by its red-painted brake calipers and dual exhaust outlets. The seller describes the finish to be very well presented with paint meter readings measuring between 4.5-5.0 throughout the exterior, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Sea Blue standard leather interior offers amenities including heated power mirrors, Homelink, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). An aftermarket Axxera touchscreen head unit has been installed and the seller notes minor wear on the driver’s seat bolster.
This Cayman S is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing up to 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission while stopping is handled by fixed 4-piston brakes with ventilated and cross-drilled discs at each corner. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Active Brake Differential (ABD) also come standard. All available maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report with the last recorded service in December 2021 including a pre-delivery inspection and transmission fluid change.
This sale will include a clean title.

@CP_VT No I’m sure he received what was requested. Seeing the bottom of the car. Making sure no damage and all is tidy. Never saw someone expect panels off on cayman. Car looks really nice.
If you want a PPI you should perform one.
@tstaver I think by undercarriage photos, @scubaesteban meant without the panels covering everything. Like on a lift, guts exposed. You guys are a dealer, right? You must have a lift.
Excellent looking car, by the way. The blue interior is unique and looks fabulous with the yellow!!
@ScubaEsteban Undercarriage photos have been added, I hope they are helpful.

Could I see some undercarriage photos please
06-08 Caymans are not able to get the IMS “done” as in the early 996s bearing is not serviceable without a tear down.
@byeretirementmoney I defy you to find ANY nice first gen Cayman to have the IMS “done.”
@jmitro The IMS bearing has not been done that I am aware of.
@jmitro thanks for the info.
Bid in the amount of $15,000
@byeretirementmoney IMS is not serviceable on this engine.
beautiful car! I have an identical speed yellow Cayman S from 07. Love it!
Great looking 987.1. I was looking at the work invoices hoping to see the IMS done. The pictures show invoices for a Lambo?
