Now up for auction is this 2008 Porsche 987 Cayman S finished in Black over a black standard leather interior. This 2008 example was sold new in California and came factory optioned with a Tiptronic S transmission, heated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, and 19” Carrera S wheels. It was acquired by the current owner early in 2011 and has been serviced annually ever since, including the recent replacement of the tires and front brakes. Now showing approximately 41k miles on the odometer, this Cayman S is being offered for auction by its owner out of California.
This 987 was ordered in nonmetallic Black along with the optional Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package and 19” Carrera S wheels with colored center crests. Red-painted brake calipers come standard on the Cayman S, and a new set of Hankook tires were mounted in preparation for sale. The seller notes only a few minor touched-up imperfections throughout the exterior. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing moderate front-end damage in 2013, followed by repairs to the front and left side.

@rustynail58 thanks for the comment. I have not driven a later Porsche. I can not honestly answer your question. I suggest you can check with a Porsche dealer. I have been very satisfied with the transmission and never had a problem with it. Thanks, David

@rustynail58 I have really enjoyed driving this car. I made a trip to Vancouver from Berkeley ca and it was very relaxing and fun to drive. I wish I could keep this car but my age and difficulty getting into and out of the is a problem. Thanks for the comment. David
