We are pleased to present this 2008 Porsche 987 Cayman S Design Edition 1 presented in Black over a Black full leather interior with Alcantara. Designated as #712 out of 777 examples built in total, this special edition Cayman S features a long list of premium factory options as well as black exterior trim. Showcasing 19” 911 Turbo wheels, the Sport Chrono Package Plus and a 6-speed manual transmission, this rare 2-owner 987 is now being offered by its seller in Florida while showing 69k original miles on the odometer.
This Design Edition 1 is finished in Black with factory-applied vinyl stripes running down the center of the car. A minor imperfection has been indicated on the front bumper along with some stone chips, although the Black finish is said to be in otherwise excellent condition. Carfax shows a very minor cosmetic damage to the rear bumper in 2016 which is reported to have been professionally repaired at a cost of less than $500. The windows have been tinted and all-red taillights have been installed, however, this Cayman S remains otherwise stock in appearance with factory Bi-Xenon headlights, black exterior trim and standard-equipped 19” 911 Turbo wheels. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are currently installed which are said to be in very good condition.
This special addition is appointed with a Black full leather interior featuring an Alcantara 3-spoke Sport Steering wheel, shifter and emergency brake handle. The cabin is said to be in good condition with some very slight wear noted on the steering wheel and driver’s seat. The cup-holder cover has been glued down to prevent from opening, however, all other gauges and accessories remain fully functional. A model limitation placque located on the glovebox denotes this example as #712/777. With an original sticker price of over $79k, this 987 is also equipped with the following exclusive options:

This 987 is said to be in exceptional driving condition with a clean Carfax report showing proper routine maintenance including a clutch system service at 55k miles and a full standard service in 2019 at 68k miles.

@MattShaw An extensive amount of records have just been added to the listing gallery.
@MattShaw as I am reviewing the invoices, it appears that the customer paid for the parts but the dealer covered the labor. RO # 650720 states refer to RO #649487 for clutch replacement. I submitted 85 pages of records and it appears PCAR only added 10 of those pages.

Maybe I’m missing something but there was no labor on the clutch on the invoice. I see almost $800 in parts with no RMS. Why no labor charge? It’s a big job. Thanks for clarification.

Does the vehicle include any of the additional design edition 1 factory accessories? The original owner would have received when buying the car.
