Making its debut for the 2008 model year with the facelifted Cayenne range, the GTS model combines a unique aerodynamic body kit with sport-tuned suspension and exhaust, larger wheels and fenders, premium driver amenities, and an enhanced V8 engine producing over 400 HP. This GTS is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a matching interior and was optioned at an original sticker price exceeding $89k including a moonroof, Variable Assist Power Steering, a Bose Surround Sound System, a backup camera, and much more. This Cayenne is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas showing approximately 69k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Basalt Black Metallic, the GTS is distinguishable by a unique styling package, including bumpers from the Cayenne Turbo, a larger roof spoiler, side skirts, black trim, a lowered ride height, and flared wheel arch extensions. Options include an enlarged rear spoiler, roof rails in Black, a tow hitch, and Bi-Xenon headlights with washers. It rides on 21” Cayenne Sport wheels wrapped in Atturo AZ850 tires. The seller notes some scrapes and scratches around the exterior, along with adding window tint and OEM side steps. The CARFAX report lists minor damage in January 2013. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is upholstered in Black leather and Alcantara and features 12-way heated power-adjustable Sport Seats, the Light Comfort Package, and a heated leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel. Other options include PCM 2.1 including Offroad navigation, the Bose Surround Sound System, a 6-disc CD changer, a moonroof, roll-up sunscreens on rear side windows, a backup camera, Variable Assist Power Steering, and XM Satellite Radio. The seller notes that Porsche Entry & Drive has been disabled. All other gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 engine, the GTS sends up to 405 HP and 369 lb.-ft. of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a variable center differential. When compared with a Cayenne S, the GTS model comes standard with a sport-tuned adjustable suspension with a 1-inch lowered ride height, a shorter final drive ratio, and a larger intake manifold. Performance options include Variable Assist Power Steering. The seller reports recent maintenance to include a brake fluid flush in May 2024, repair of the right wheels in July 2024, the replacement of the starter in May 2023, and an oil change in December 2023.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, some documentation, and a clean title.

@nutbags The car displayed a “Steering Faulty” message and the steering column and gear selector locked up making the car undrivable. It was diagnosed as an issue related to the keyless entry and drive modules (Kessy) and disabling that feature solved the issue. See pic #131 for the invoice from 2022. I don’t mind having to use the key fob to unlock but if you wanted to re-enable I believe the steering wheel lock module and Kessy would need to be repaired. They can be removed and shipped to Speedometer Solutions in the Chicago area for repair. I think the cost is around $500. https://www.speedosolutions.com/
Why has the Porsche Entry & Drive system been disabled?

In my opinion, the Cayenne GTS is probably the best value Porsche money can by at the moment. This is a very nice example.

@Moneycop1067 Yes, in good shape. Nothing needed mechanically. Thanks.
@R-car4Me Pic 59 is the driver's side rear quarter panel. No dent. Thanks.
Mechanically speaking, is she in good shape? Need anything right out of the gate? Thx
@Duke_dallas- So there is no car door dent in picture 59?

@4-car4me Thanks. Those pics are meant to illustrate scrapes and scratches as mentioned i the listing. 58 is a scuff near top of fender. 59 light scratches on door (not to be confused with the reflection of the sky, trees and buildings in the background). 60 - scratches near door handle. Hope that clears it up.
Hi, Nice Cayenne. Can you explain pictures 58-59 and 60? I'm looking at 59. Is there a small door dent and a paint scratch? I believe it is the driver-side back door. Is that correct?
Thanks for your time and help

Potential bidders please note that the front passenger door lock sticks. A firm bump with the palm of hand unsticks whatever is sticking and then the door opens. I have not received a quote for repair.
