Situated near the top of Porsche's Cayenne model range, the GTS version features a generous array of premium features along with an aerodynamic body kit, sport suspension, 21” wheels, and a naturally aspirated V8 engine producing over 400 HP. This 2008 example comes finished in Black over a matching leather/Alcantara interior and features a rare 6-speed manual transmission along with an optional trailer hitch, variable-assist power steering, Bi-Xenon headlights, and an enlarged rear spoiler. It was acquired by its second and current owner from Porsche of Fairfield in 2011 at just 22k miles and benefits from over $10k worth of recent service and refurbishment. Now showing approximately 150k miles, this rare 6-speed Cayenne GTS is being offered for auction by its owner out of Connecticut.
The exterior is finished in Black and includes a GTS-specific aerodynamic body kit with a Turbo-style front fascia, side skirt extensions, and a body-colored rear valence. This example also sports optional Bi-Xenon headlights as well as an enlarged rear spoiler and silver roof bars. The factory 21” Cayenne Turbo wheels are complemented by red brake calipers and optional colored Porsche crests. Three of the Pirelli Scorpion tires retain approximately 3mm of tread while the right-rear tire shows about 1mm remaining. The car has been mainly garage-kept and the seller notes minor cosmetic damages throughout the body as well as hazy headlight lenses and curb rash on the wheels. The CARFAX report shows minor damage to the rear end in 2012 and the seller states the rear bumper and liftgate were refinished.
The black leather and Alcantara interior features optional heated front seats and steering wheel, the Light Comfort Package, and Bose Surround Sound System as well as a moonroof, satellite radio receiver, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 2.1. An aftermarket wireless phone receiver has been added and the seller reports the navigation DVD reader is currently inoperable. A warning icon is also present on the dash for the brake lights.
The naturally aspirated 4.8L V8 engine sends as much as 405 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Compared to a standard Cayenne S, the GTS model offers a sport-tuned adjustable suspension, lowered ride height, shorter final drive ratio, and larger intake manifold which helps achieve an increase of about 20 HP. This example was also optioned with Variable Assist Power Steering for improved maneuverability. Service carried out in the past 24 months is said to include the installation of a new clutch, coolant lines, and brakes. The left front brake caliper needs a rebuild and the seller reports the car’s Sport mode is currently inoperable.
This sale will include a clean title and the original owner manuals.

Do you have any information on the carfax reported damage?
@Malcolmrobinson No gremlins .... or wierd eletrical activity. Think the nav fell pray to a mechanic when they replaced the battery under driver seat ...also fairly recently.
@whit3out No water in the footwells ! Sport Mode doesn't work , navigation doesn't read DVD notice....Put in 1/2 quart about every 4th tank.
Has there been any water in the driver footwell?

@1991928gt The head gasket hasn't been replaced - nor ever warranted replacing . Per mechanic - the V8 4.8L engine rarely needs head work . I have not had any compression or oil leak issues ever. No, I have never used an oil additive. The car has been serviced either by Porsche Fairfield CT or W Jennings and Co , Southport CT a reputable shop that specializes in Porsche Audi BMW and Mercedes. The next oil change and routine inspection service due is at 156,000 miles per Jennings Sticker. Brake rotors and pads front last replaced Jan 21 , rear in Dec 21 .
Bid in the amount of $4,950
Has it ever had the cylinder head gasket ever been replaced? Can you please attest that "head gasket" sealant has never been put into the oil?
Bid in the amount of $4,000
@Malcolmrobinson Haha, ok, hilarious article. I would've never guessed it wouldn't have had bluetooth either! Thanks.

@Blubusdrvr https://www.mobileindustryreview.com/2008/07/115000_for_a_porsche_cayenne_and_it_doesnt_have_bluetooth.html
Heres a 2008 article on the 115K Porsche Cayenne GTS with no blu tooth.
@Blubusdrvr Hello - Brake isn't dragging - you could drive home 300 miles . The 2008 Cayenne GTs used a SIM Card inserted in the dash back then . No blu tooth . The blue tooth is after-market ( Parrot )
@Malcolmrobinson Outside of the tires needing replacement would this be able to be driven 300 miles home or is the brake dragging? Also is the factory bluetooth not working? I noticed what looks like a bluetooth module.
@ceagon Videos are up !
@lubdub On the caliper issue - the front left caliper needs to be repaired to insure the pads retract / open more fully.
@1991928gt Hello - no compression test done - just added video of how car drives , starts .. . I've had no compression issues at all .
@lubdub Two of the three brake light led modules work on each side - was quoted $300.00 to replace LED modules.
Has a leak down and/or compression test been done recently?
Any more information on the recent brake service but brake light and caliper issue?
@ceagon I will create a video when I get home tonight or in am tomorrow and post !
@seller Looks fun! Any driving videos to come? Would love to hear the engine and watch some gear rowing! GLWS
