Drawing inspiration from the 2007 911 GT3 RS, a total of 250 examples of the Porsche Boxster S Limited Edition were produced with a unique Orange finish, the SportDesign Package, Sport Exhaust System, Black leather and Alcantara interior, and several additional premium features. This 2008 example features a 6-speed manual transmission, the Sport Chrono Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, Bi-Xenon headlights, a Porsche wind stop, and heated front seats. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada while showing approximately 30,500 kilometers or just under 19k miles on the odometer.
Each Boxster S Limited Edition comes finished in Orange, complemented with black-finished front & side air inlets, exterior mirrors, and 19” Boxster S wheels, as well as a black convertible soft top. The SportDesign Package is equipped as standard, including aggressive front splitters, a revised two-stage speed-activated rear spoiler, and an integrated rear diffuser. The Sport Exhaust System is also factory-equipped, adding dual chrome-finished exhaust tips. Bi-Xenon headlights were additionally opted for. Some signs of road wear are noted on the front end, and additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather and Alcantara covering the seat centers, steering wheel, gear knob, shifter boot, and handbrake lever. Orange-finished accents line the dashboard, center console, shift knob lettering, cup holder cover, door lever surrounds, and roll-over hoops. A Boxster S Limited Edition plaque indicating #037/250 decorates the glovebox door. Optional features include heated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, a Porsche wind stop, and the Sport Chrono Package which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. Some wear is noted on the steering wheel, shift knob, and driver’s outer seat bolster.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine generating 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The Sport Exhaust system comes equipped as standard. Stopping power is provided by 4-piston fixed brake calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller states that an oil and filter change will be carried out prior to this sale.
This sale will include a clean title, two keys, a build sheet, owner’s manuals, and sales literature.

@racehome
This vehicle is compliant yes.
In order to take a picture of the sticker, we have to get to the engine cover, and that requires a couple of hours of removing panels, etc.
Does the car have an emissions label that indicates compliance with California or 50-state emissions certification. The EPA’s vehicle emissions label is titled: “Vehicle Emission Control Information” and it contains the manufacturer’s name and trademark of the manufacturer an unconditional statement of compliance with EPA emission regulations. The label should be located under the hood or in the engine compartment of motor vehicles.
@sironside Great questions and I just had a chat with the broker to reconfirm everything.
Re duty - I was mistaken:
1. Duty is only 2.5 % at this current moment.
2. US Bond $495
3. Re Cluster- this is directly from the company who does it for us: I will usually try to keep original cluster in car and take parts from Used cluster to convert as if oem, if possible. If not, I will swap completely. It depends case by case.
Mileage is stored inside processor chip of cluster, but I can change to match current mileage.
I will change units for dash to Fahrenheit and to miles
4. Guarantee compliance letter - we have already spoke. To PNA.
- no IMS update
Thanks everyone and good luck to all bidders.
I would read through some posts on the Rennlist forums about compliance letters, it seems Porsche does not always want to issue them for Canada to USA cars.
However, I imagine that circumstance would be qualification for a refund on buyer fees from PCarMarket and a canceled sale. Probably worth taking a chance.
Has the IMS bearing been upgraded?
@CARSFORTOYS
In speaking with TFX regarding export duties and fees they had made mention that there is a one time entry bond fee. Any experience on how the bond fee actually is assessed or what percentage? I've also heard that the duty is between 2.5% to 2.9% (you actually mentioned here it's 2.5% and then 2.6%) ... is there an actual set fee?
In regards to the cluster, is the entire cluster exchanged for the USA version? Or are there just overlays they are using? If it's the entire cluster being swapped over where is the mileage stored? Does the temperatures on the dash also change from Celsius to Fahrenheit?
Are we guaranteed that Porsche will issue a USA compliance letter without needing any modifications to comply to USA spec?
