Now available is this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet finished in Speed Yellow over a black full leather interior. At an original sticker price over $144k, this 6-speed Mezger Turbo was optioned with leather Sport Seats and the Sport Chrono Package as well as Speed Yellow seatbelts, instrument dials, painted seatbacks, and rocker panels from Porsche’s Exclusive Department. It was acquired by the current owner in June of 2014 and customized with tinted lenses, LED headlights, black exhaust tips, and aftermarket black-painted wheels with yellow stripes. This Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered by its owner out of Washington showing approximately 92k miles on the odometer.
This Turbo comes finished in Speed Yellow with optional painted rocker panels and lower rear apron trim. Smoked LED headlights have been installed along with matching side marker lenses, daytime running lights, and taillights. Other additions include rear Porsche lettering and model designations on each door in black. Clear paint protection film has been applied over the front bumper, mirrors, and ahead of the rear wheels. The seller notes some small rock chips on the hood and lower body, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The aftermarket 19" wheels are finished in black with yellow accent stripes and come dressed in a set of Hankook Ventus RS4 tires from 2020.
The cabin is appointed with black full leather upholstery accented by Exclusive Speed Yellow seatbelts, instrument dials, painted hardback Sport Seats, and belt outlet trims. Custom black carpet floor mats with yellow edges have also been added. The passenger Airbag warning light is present and all other features and accessories are said to be working properly.
The 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine traces its roots back to the GT1 Le Mans race car and produces up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque, driving all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo enables a temporary overboost function for increased peak torque over a 10 second period. Annual oil and filter changes have been carried out by the seller and the car has been routinely serviced by Squires Autowerkes of Bellevue and Porsche of Tacoma in Washington with an oil and filter changed performed February 6th.
This sale will include a clean title as well as all stock parts including the original Turbo wheels with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires mounted, taillights, side markers and exhaust tips.

Looks like all the common Turbo issues have been addressed except the coolant tubes that sometimes come unglued. Does anyone know if Porsche ever addressed this issue from the factory, or does it apply to 997s as well as 996s?
@Sundevil4life Work completed at Cantrell Motorsports in Bellevue WA. They also completed the pre purchase inspection (see pages 46-48) on the same day they installed the Rennkit (which is where I took the video on the turbo on the lift).
@Sundevil4life it works perfectly, goes up at 75 mph and back down at 55 mph. Please see photos 72 and 73 February 11 2022 invoices for new Rennkit electric wing lift system installed ($1,600 parts and 1,000 labor to install). There is also a button for extension and retraction on center console.

@rmw photos of the seats are posted as well as a quick video of when the car was having the Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI) last Friday February 11, 2022.
@rmw Give me a couple of hours and I will take the photos of the front seats as requested (when I get out of work). I will upload them at that time, but there is a lag with PCAR Rep that controls and publishes the photos on the web.
Interior is all original except for the front mats (black with yellow edges).
Can seller provide a photo of the driver seat bolster where it shows the actual condition of the seat where the actual wear occurs on the bolsters. Photos do not even show that. Also can seller let buyers now if any reupholster done aftermarket other than aftermarket carpet and wheels and smoked out lights
