Pairing a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine, this 2008 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over Black leather. It was also configured with 19” Sport Design wheels, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Power Seat Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, heated front seats, and more. Showing approximately 29k miles on the odometer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut.
Finished in Meteor Grey Metallic, this Coupe can be distinguished as a Carrera S by its red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. It rides on optional 19” Sport Design wheels with colored Porsche center crests and Michelin tires from 2023 driven less than 2k miles. The seller notes a small scratch on the right front headlight along with an imperfection on the bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents Black Standard leather upholstery with an Alcantara headliner and black floor mats. Optional equipment includes heated front seats, Porsche-crested headrests, the Power Seat Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, a remote CD changer, a navigation module for PCM, and self-dimming mirrors. Additionally, the Sport Chrono Package Plus adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard.
Rated at 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque, the Carrera S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine sending power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an Active Braking Differential (ABD), and Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR) come standard along with fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled discs. The seller adds that service records dating back to 2018 along with a pre-purchase inspection report from July 2022 are included.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a car cover, and a battery charger.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for taking a look at EMHA, named after my four daughters Elizabeth, Meredith, Hannah, and Abigail. After the sale of the company, I did what most 60 yr. olds do and bought a Porsche. I had been looking for over a year and when this one came available, I jumped into action and made the trip from CT to Syracuse and purchased my first Porsche for $68k. The local dealer that completed the PPI said it was one of the best vehicles they had seen this vintage (report with my records). The tires were in good condition, but the rubber was old, so I had 4 new Michelin tires put on. I really haven't had the opportunity to drive the car that much, like everything I own it has been meticulously cared for and properly winterized the two winters I've owned her. Getting married this Fall and my new bride's car will occupy EMHA's garage berth..... a great trade, she's a wonderful woman and I'll own another Porsche when we get a three-car garage. Open to answer any questions.”

I am traveling, not with vehicle, working on getting photos of underside to post. That said, there was no rust or issues when I purchased the vehicle. Specifically asked Porsche dealer that did the PPI to inspect for rust on underside. They put it up on lift and did not note rust or any issues in PPI.
Bid in the amount of $52,000
Is the car rust (crust) free on the bottom of the car? Some cars are never driven in snow or salted roads and other are crusty from east coast winter driving. A picture of the engine area from below the back bumper would help.
Thank you,

Traveling away from home, had nephew post video of cold start …..hope that provides what you’re looking for.
I was really hoping for a video of the left rear exhaust during cold start. Sorry for the confusion
Yes, the video was uploaded and is second video posted for this auction; that is my hand on the You Tube video doing the cold start holding left exhaust. Hope that clarifies.
Were you able to get a cold start video focused on the left rear exhaust?
Yes, Simsbury ..... we're right next to Hop Meadow CC
Bid in the amount of $21,250
Sorry
I see it’s Simsbury, 2hr drive
Hi Jessa
Where’s your 911?
Is it CT?
I’m in MA
How far from Boston are you?
Thank you for the quick response.
The indentions on the seat were from CD's that were removed just prior to photos being taken. I've submitted photos from this morning that show no indentions, they were there temporarily, also uploaded photo of bumper without Medallion.
In photo #60, are those indentions in the leather?
Bid in the amount of $20,500
Thank you for the quick response.
@Jessannjoh Cold start video will be posted.
100 Club medallion will be removed with post removal photo........ adhered with pressure sensitive tape
I Love your car!!! How is the badge on the left rear bumper attached? Can you post a cold start video focused on the left rear exhaust? Thank you
@Mirage08 I have service records back to 2018 and they do not show IMS replacement
@SVTJayC Build sheet and PPI will be posted
Can you post the PPI? Also can you post the Build Sheet with all the original equipment? I'm not sure why PCM doesn't just require this.
IMS not a big issue on these, but was the car scoped for bore scoring during the PPI in 2022?
IMS replaced on this?
Bid in the amount of $19,997
