Available for auction is this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Sand Beige Full Leather. Equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, this first-generation 997 Turbo Cabriolet was originally purchased from Brumos Porsche of Florida. It was then acquired by its previous owner in January of this year, and was serviced in preparation for this sale within the last month. Now it is being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas, while showing just over 10k miles on the odometer.
The Turbo model is distinguished by wide fenders, rear side air intakes, model-specific fascias, and a rear spoiler with a speed-activated wing. This example comes finished in GT Silver Metallic with a black Cabriolet soft top and the seller notes that front trunk lid has been refinished for cosmetic purposes. A collection of images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX. Details include the factory Parking assist system, rear model designation delete, painted rocker panels, and 19” 911 Turbo wheels dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The cabin is appointed with Sand Beige full leather upholstery, and is highlighted by a pair of Adaptive Sport Seats. The seller reports that the cabin remains nicely preserved with all gauges and accessories working properly. Equipment includes the Bose premium audio system, automatic climate control, white instrument dials, and power heated side mirrors.
Power comes from a 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine traces its roots back to the GT1 Le Mans race car and produces up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque, driving all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The CARFAX includes 13 service history records dating back as far as 2007, with the most recent coming in July of this year.
This sale will include owner’s books and a clean title. A remarkably well preserved, low-mileage example, this 997 Turbo Cabriolet is one to watch!

Did 104 on BaT no sale before we got it. Going to sell at a reasonable number for a 10k mile car.
Thanks for all the bids and comments.
Timeless I saw that bud this car on BaT. Good luck. It’s an amazing car.
Bid in the amount of $72,500
I can assure you mechanically and physically this is one of the nicest turbos we have ever had. Not only that it only has 10k miles and at the price point it should fetch would be a ton of fun for a pristine example up and down the California coast.
According to that DME the driver of this car the last 5 hours of the total hours of 342 either didn't know what they were doing or treated it very poorly.

@fcort7 Any chance you could give us a rough estimate for an extended warranty on this vehicle if won?
@artichoke - Its a 2008 So no warranty left. We could sell an extended warranty if interested.
Thanks
Any Porsche warranty still in place?
Hello everyone, less than 2 days left on this low mile example. Drove the car yesterday again for a few videos and I must say its truly a stunning example that needs nothing.
Thankfully this gorgeous turbo is not back on BaT. Otherwise we would have to suffer through the cacophony of comments regarding the ignition report. I’m not a soft top guy so I’m immune to the allure of the songs of this 911’s Mezger sirens. However I’m reminded of a line from the movie The Chronicles of Riddick. “Toombs you should have taken the money”.
Good luck seller you are in good hands with Pcarmarket. If they can’t make you happy very few to none have a chance.

The owner took the car to RAC Performance last night and we have a new DME as well Will be posted shortly. While the DME isn't the greatest they noted 0 misfires.

I was not aware of the BaT listing but I found the DME - I will send a photo to Pcar for posting
Thank you @max298RSR
I did a copy/paste in a Google search and found that the car did not meet the reserve on BAT earlier this year. It appears the car was driven 300 miles since the no sale. There is info on the DME for anyone who's interested.

Hello all - I have asked the owner if he has one or can get one. We do not have access to a DME.
Agree- DME report please
A DME report would be appreciated. Thank you
Hello all the 10.5 read is the hood. It’s disclosed in the ad. Our client had it painted for Rock Chips. The rest of the car metered consistent as original paint.
Hi there, where is the area showing a 10.5 paint meter reading? Can you please upload a dme report? Thanks!
