The ultimate convertible 911 available at the time, this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet commanded an original sticker price of nearly $150k with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as the optional Sport Chrono Package and a black leather interior with silver seatbelts, painted trim, Sport Shifter, and painted hardback Adaptive Sport Seats. The car was sold new from Porsche of San Diego and remained on the West Coast up until earlier 2022 while being maintained at Porsche North Scottsdale in Arizona and Porsche Bellevue of Washington. Treated to a full 40k-mile Porsche dealer service just over 1k miles ago, this Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas showing approximately 26k miles on the odometer.
This 997 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black cabriolet top and factory exclusive red taillight lenses. The Turbo model is distinguished by wide fenders, rear side air intakes, model-specific fascias, and a rear spoiler with a speed-activated wing. Red painted brake calipers are tucked behind factory 19” 911 Turbo wheels dressed in two-year-old Pirelli P Zero tires. The seller notes the forward portion of the car has been preserved under clear paint protection film, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black full leather interior includes optional painted air vent slats and PCM Package trim as well as exclusive silver seatbelts, a painted rear center console, and heated Adaptive Sport Seats with painted backings. Upgraded speakers have been installed along with an aftermarket Kenwood head unit, and a complete list of factory options is provided below:
All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine, which produces up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque. The optional Sport Chrono Package allows the driver to enhance the performance characteristics using the sport mode button on the center console. The CARFAX report shows a lifetime of maintenance by West Coast Porsche dealers including a major engine-out service by Porsche Bellevue in 2013 at 17,493 miles and a 40k-mile service by the same dealer in May of 2020 at 24,879 miles. The car most recently received a service and pre-delivery inspection from McLaren of Bellevue in January of 2022.

@Avenger211 also looking at this even more. It seems the way the light is hitting the car may make this look worse in the photo than it actually is. Mine does this too In the garage Vs the sun.
I have zero affiliation with this car or sell. Just an observation Vs mine which I really believe to be correct
@Avenger211 I have an 07 gt silver manual coupe. Very low mile car, clean carfax, one owner before me. I think there’s about the same paint color variation on mine as this. Might just be the plastic vs metal panels.
@Lambogas I’m sure you wish you still had the f40. What a drag for your lawyer having to deal with that on the carfax on that car especially.

@jbpcar @josh.bhatia ... I do not
Do you know if the coolant lines were addressed during the engine out at 17k miles?
The latest service records have been added
@Avenger211 .... I understand ..... Carfax is not the bible , I sold a F40 many years ago to my attorney and the Carfax was clean , he went to sell it about 7 years later and they claim it was a total loss at some point early on in its life ..... it is entirely possible the bumpers have been re-finished at some point but other than that the paint meters perfectly
@Lambogas just b/c the carfax shows no accident, it doesn’t mean it was never in one. The owner could have paid out of pocket so the Carfax looks clean.
@Avenger211 .... Paint meter readings have been forwarded to Pcar ..... they are perfect
Look at photo 18 ..... instead of making wild assumptions why just ask a question
Another observation, pic 26, the rear bumper has a different paint tone than the quarter panel - an indication of a possible rear end accident. The front bumper and rear bumper could have been replaced and painted. Where are the paint meters around the car?
Looking at picture 15, it seems that the hood alignment is not correct. The front bumper appears to been replaced. Follow the hood all the way around, the lines to do match up. The front of the hood is below the bumper lines.
A DME reading has been added to the listing gallery.
@jbpcar @josh.bhatia ... DME has been sent to Pcar
@jbpcar @josh.bhatia … working to get the last svc ticket
@jbpcar @josh.bhatia … I tied to get it in yesterday for a DME report and they were to busy but it will be done first of the week
Bid in the amount of $39,900
DME report? Do you have the service records for the engine out repairs (coolant lines pinned)?
Hello everyone and thanks for watching. The car is available if anyone wants to come and inspect prior to auction closing. This car is crispy nice and I will get a video up shortly.
