This 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet was sold new from Champion Porsche in Florida finished in the rare Paint to Sample color of Orange. It commanded an original sticker price of over $172k including a Black full leather interior with deviated Orange stitching, the Carbon Package, Adaptive Sport Seats, illuminated carbon door sills, and exclusive leather trim pieces. It was also optioned with a Tiptronic S automatic transmission and Sport Chrono Package Turbo for the quickest acceleration from the factory. Purchased by its third and current owner in November 2021, this rare Paint to Sample 911 Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This 997 features an optional Paint to Sample exterior in Orange, a rare nonmetallic color associated with the contemporary 911 GT3 RS model. The seller adds that only five examples are known to have been finished in this color. Factory equipment includes a black cabriolet top, optional painted headlight washer covers, red brake calipers, integrated side air intakes, a speed-activated rear wing, dual exhaust outlets, bi-xenon headlamps, and 19” 911 Turbo wheels. The seller notes a larger front chin spoiler has been installed along with OEM 911 GT2 side skirts, a new German canvas convertible top, and an eRam electric rear spoiler conversion. The front bumper was previously refinished to address cosmetic imperfections, and this is said to account for the minor front-end damage report on CARFAX in 2016. Inside, this 997 features a Black full leather interior with comprehensive deviated Orange stitching, the Carbon Package, and exclusive leather trim for the seatbacks, clothes hooks, steering column, interior light cover, rearview mirror, sun visors, inner sills, PCM package, Tiptronic gate, and speaker covers. Additional carbon fiber trim options include the door finishers, illuminated door sills, rear center console, seatbelt outlets, and switch panel. The car is also optioned with Adaptive Sport Seats, Porsche-crested headrests, an embossed storage compartment lid, an aluminum footrest, and a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial. The seller notes an updated 991-generation Sport steering wheel has been installed with functional paddle shifters.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine delivers up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in approximately 3.5 seconds while stopping power is handled by cross-drilled 330mm brake discs with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. Recent service is said to include an oil and filter change, a brake fluid flush, new differential and transmission fluid, and a new evaporator installed in November 2023.

This exceptionally maintained 911 is meticulously cared for at TuneRS Motorsports, there is nothing this car needs except for someone to drive and enjoy it! This 911 does not reflect its mileage, the paint is immaculate and shows all original paint except for the aforementioned front bumper.
@Tonyq I had a set of H&R sport springs installed when I purchased it in 2022 to give it the European ride height. I installed new upper mounts and strut bearings done at the same time, and a 4 wheel string alignment performed. Tires I installed new toward end of 2022, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and they have less than 300 miles driven on them since I installed them.

Interesting car. First third of it's life no recorded service, which is weird since it was under warranty for 3 years of course. Next third the car thought it was an Audi. And the final third the car thought it was a Mitsubishi. All of the above is According to Carfax. Car might need a personality psychotherapist haha.
