This 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Sea Blue full leather interior and comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine. It was configured at an original sticker price of over $146k including the optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo, supple leather seats, Porsche crested headrests, seatbelts in Silver, painted interior and exterior trim, illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel, air vent slats in aluminum-look, and a thicker leather steering wheel. Over the last 8 years of the seller’s ownership, the car has been extensively serviced including the replacement of the clutch, brakes, belts, motor mounts, fuel pump, shocks & struts, water pump, starter motor, belts, and much more. Supported by extensive maintenance records, pinned coolant pipes, and a clean CARFAX report showing a detailed service history, this Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington, D.C. while showing approximately 94k miles on the odometer.
The 911 Turbo is differentiated from the rest of the 997 model range by its wider fenders with integrated side air intakes as well as its unique bumper design and speed-activated rear spoiler. This 2008 example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic including an optional painted front lip spoiler, lower rear apron, and rocker panels. Other equipment includes a Metropol Blue cabriolet roof, bi-xenon headlights, red brake calipers, and 19” 911 Turbo wheels with wheel locks. The seller describes the exterior to be in excellent overall condition with some minor scratches noted on the front and rear bumpers. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Sea Blue full leather upholstery complemented by an Exclusive body-colored rear center console and belt outlet trims, seatbelts in Silver, and air vent slats in aluminum-look. Other options include illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel, a thicker steering wheel in leather, floor mats in interior color, supple leather seats front and rear, heated front seats, and Porsche crest-embossed headrests. A stopwatch dial is also mounted on the central dashboard as part of the optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo. Under the seller’s care, the passenger-side window motor was replaced along with the trunk lid switch, cabin air filter, fuel door release, and A/C condenser. The A/C system was also recently evacuated and recharged.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine delivers up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo adds a Sport drive mode and a temporary overboost function which provides increased peak torque of 502 lb.-ft over a certain rpm range. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 3.8 seconds with a top speed of over 190 MPH. Stopping power is handled by cross-drilled 350mm discs clamped by fixed 6-piston calipers in front and fixed 4-piston calipers in the rear. The car has been maintained by Intersport Performance over the past 8 years and service has included pinned coolant pipes and the replacement of the engine belts and roller, water pump, starter, motor mounts, fuel pump and relays, exhaust studs, muffler bolts, clutch disc, clutch safety switch and front reservoir, front CV boots and axle seals, front and rear brakes, tie rods, strut mounts and bearings, steering rack, shocks, and struts. The fluids have also been routinely changed and several wheel alignments were performed.
This sale will include extensive service records, indoor and outdoor car covers, touch-up paint, two keys, and a clean title.

Other talk to your dealer who works on your car before I bid
Bid in the amount of $25,500
@MikeC There are no leaks. Again, if you would like more information, I will happily make my dealer available to talk to any bidder. He has serviced the car not only for me but for a previous owner so he has cared for the car for most of the car's life.
@997.1TTcab I don't have either of those reports but the dealership that has serviced the car both for me and the previous owner offered to speak to any bidder interested in the car. He knows the history inside and out. I'm confident of the car's condition mainly bc the dealer I used is extremely proactive, replacing parts and performing service bf any breakdowns and worse problems occur. And I have addressed all maintenance issues as they have been identified. As you well know, if properly maintained, these cars can last forever.
Any leaks ? would appreciate seeing some detailed photos of the undercarriage preferably from up on a car lift
I had an ‘09 in midnight blue with natural leather and my first P-car was a 996 C2 in this identical silver/blue color scheme. This one is really making me drool. A bit hesitant on the mileage, as everything is expensive to replace, but this one seems to have had most of it done. Do you have PPI and DME reports? I proactively did both when I sold my Turbo in Marketplace 2 years ago. May be interested…
Don't do it again...Norm! LOL, just kidding around.
I hope you bid on it. I am watching this sale in envy.
@211Broadway ,
You are absolutely right. The part about air-cooled was just a brain fart, but I was just wrong about it being 997.2. My apologies.
@normcairns
Norm, you may want to brush up on your 997s. This is a 997.1 and it is not aircooled.
Looks super clean and cared for. Odometer is close to turning over into the 100,000s which is something to consider on purchase and re-sale.
For the right $ this is an AMAZING model. Blistering fast upon full acceleration it will require and undie change upon home arrival.

Beautiful car! The 997.2 was the best air-cooled Porsche and this is the best one they made. Good luck!
@Mercyhealth yes I have a second key. Just didn't include it in the photo. The leather really is beautiful and so distinctive with the blue convertible top. Just don't see many on the road that look like this.
Absolutely love Blue Leather interiors! Seller please get another key. You wouldn’t want to leave this beauty in a parking lot with a lost key. Cost 4-5 hundred all in
