Finished in the Paint to Sample color of Horizon Blue Metallic over a Sand Beige full leather interior, this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo is believed to be one of only 5 examples in this color combination to have been equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. It was also ordered with an optional limited-slip differential, painted exterior trim, supple leather seats, Porsche crested headrests, and the Sport Chrono Package. Showing just over 56k miles on the odometer, this outstanding 997 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Florida.

This Coupe is finished in Horizon Blue Metallic, a rare Paint to Sample option derived from Porsche’s early 1990s color palette. Optional details include painted side skirts and lower rear valence. The car rides on factory 911 Turbo wheels dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is trimmed in Sand Beige full leather upholstery including optional supple leather seats with Porsche-crested headrests. Other options include a storage bin with embossed Porsche crest, the Parking Assist System, a 6-disc CD changer, and a dashboard-mounted lap timer included as part of the Sport Chrono Package.

Producing up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque, the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine drives all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and optional limited-slip rear differential. The seller states many records are available showing a history of dealer maintenance and the CARFAX report shows service completed at Porsche Palm Springs in June 2022.

This sale will include a clean title.

Any reasons issues why I could drive this car home if I’m the winner, it’s 1179 miles. I drove my 03 turbo home from Beverly Hills 1679 miles earlier this year with no issues, other than paying $7.59 a gallon for 91 octane in California.

RipCity pictures 151-153 are the options car came with from factory as I don't have the original window sticker. Basically the rocker panels & lower part of rear apron are painted as they would otherwise be black. Those are the extra parts painted.

She’s a beauty, ain’t she Clark? @DrFG, would you mind sharing what you know about the painted exterior trim, such as which pieces this includes? There are a few that are clear to anyone familiar and I did see mention of the lower skirts/rocker panels, but wondering if you have a true list? Do you have window sticker? Thank you kindly.

Thank you. Car has been meticulously maintained throughout its life, as evidenced in the interior, paint; even the inners wheels and calipers look brand new. It looks and drives like a car with half the mileage

  • kephare 2 years, 1 monthago

exceptionally difficult interior color to keep looking this good! Very nice....especially at this mileage.

None of the records I have show any camshaft work done. As far as I know engine has never had any issues/problems during previous or my ownership.

  • skywalker27612 (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

Beautiful 997. Any history in records of spun camshaft work? Common for 997.1 turbo. Thx

  • DrFG (seller) 2 years, 1 monthago

Hello and welcome to my auction. I’ll be readily available throughout the week to answer all of your questions the best I can. Let me take this opportunity to mention this is a 100% all original car. Paint is original and there are no modifications or aftermarket parts added. This is a spectacular car and everyone comments on its appearance, how “new” it looks and drives. Very rare car. I know it’s a tired phrase but in this case it’s true…pictures don’t do it justice.
    Thank you.
