We are pleased to present this 2008 Porsche 997.1 Turbo Coupe finished in Black over a two-tone black and Sand Beige leather interior. Purchased by its current owner from an authorized Porsche dealer in 2017, this 2008 example features a sought-after twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine, the Sport Chrono Package Turbo, and a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic gearbox. Said to have undergone all service as needed, this Turbo shows approximately 66k miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
The black finish on this coupe is stated to be in very nice overall condition, detailed images are available in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX. The seller notes a very small chip on the hood and a slight scratch on the driver’s door. Complementing the wide fenders of this coupe are a set of aftermarket 19” wheels that come dressed in Michelin tires bearing approximately 7k miles of use.
Inside this Turbo you will find a premium two-tone black and Sand Beige leather interior with carbon fiber trim and a dark wood shifter. The cabin is said to be in very nice condition with all electronics remaining fully functional including the aftermarket Kenwood touchscreen radio. With an MSRP of over $133k, noteworthy features include heated seats, a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, the Sport Chrono Package Turbo, and a footrest in aluminum.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.6 L flat-six Mezger engine featuring twin variable turbine geometry (VTG) turbochargers. 480 HP is sent to all four wheels through a refined 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic gearbox allowing this Turbo to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of over 190 MPH. In addition to the standard features of Porsche Traction Management (PTM) and Porsche Suspension Management (PSM), this model is also factory optioned with Sport Chrono Package Turbo which enables an overboost setting that increases peak torque over a certain RPM range. Under the current ownership, the engine is said to have been dropped to fix a small coolant pipe leak at which time the motor mounts were also replaced. Said to be in excellent driving order with no outstanding maintenance items, this Turbo is ready to be enjoyed.
Included in the sale is a set of two keys, a clean title, owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean CARFAX. If you are in search of a Mezger 997 Turbo, this 2008 Coupe is not to be missed.

@spike Great Car!
What brand are the after-market wheels? Do you happen to have the stock wheels?
In pic 34, it looks like some discoloration right above the exhaust. Is the paint worn there or is that just the reflection?
In pic 46, it looks like a passport radar detector. Is that working too?
Thanks and GLWTA!

@cibenglish I just placed the order for that front scoop. That was a great suggestion. again Thank You
@cibenglish Great suggestion. I'll get on that.
I'm glad I didn't know about Suncoast parts. I haven't needed anything .... but with a menu like that I'd have kept looking until I found somethin.
Thanks,
I just sold my 2008 on this site. Great experience. The front scoop needs attention but for $275 and 2 simple star screw it is easily replaced. I ordered mine from Suncoast. Don't let that get in the way of a nice car!
This beauty thinks she is still brand new. If you don't see her that way don't tell her.
