The timeless Arctic Silver Metallic finish on this Turbo is shown to be in excellent condition with ceramic coating applied over the full exterior along with paint protective film applied on the front bumper. This Turbo is appointed with a sumptuous black full leather interior with professionally reupholstered diamond-stitched seats. Custom details include carbon fiber “Turbo” door sill guards and inner handles as well as an aftermarket carbon fiber gear selector, center console, steering wheel, key entry and Sport Chrono surround. An upgraded Alpine head unit has also been installed; however, the original will be included in sale. Commanding an original sticker price of over $144k, this Turbo features amenities including heated front seats, a remote 6-disc CD changer, a smooth leather steering wheel and a power operated Cabriolet top in black. The seller notes the interior to be in superb condition with all gauges, electrical components and accessories remaining fully functional.
This 997 carries a highly regarded 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine rated at 480 HP stock. Power is distributed to all four wheels by way of a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with an upgraded EvoM TCU. The optional Sport Chrono package adds a handy lap timer to the dashboard and enables the driver to select between different performance settings while underway. Really beautiful turbo and IMO had the better of the 2 engines offered in the two 997 turbo models. If all the carbon fiber had been done at factory this build would have been at least 10-15k more. With an average mile per year of ~650 the fit and finish are well preserved. It will be interesting to see if all the fabulous after market fits will drive the bidding north. If this turbo had 3 pedals the value would not be calculable. Good luck to the seller!
