Refinished in Liquid Metal Silver, this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe pairs a desirable 6-speed manual transmission with its race-derived, twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six. Originally specified in Black, this 997 was refinished under the original caretaker in the current shade of Liquid Metal Silver, a shade exclusively offered for the legendary Porsche 918 Spyder. Factory equipment includes Turbo-specific bumpers, wide fenders, and integrated side air intakes, and an optional model designation delete. Modifications comprise clear side markers, body-colored TechArt front and rear lower spoilers, a TechArt speed-activated rear wing, and silver 20” HRE wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2016. The cabin presents Black full leather upholstery. Options include the Leather PCM Package, Leather Switch Panel Package, leather instrument surrounds, a leather rear center console, aluminum/leather-trimmed gear lever & handbrake, an aluminum footrest, illuminated stainless steel door entry guards, and a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial. The seller states that a TechArt short shifter was fitted, the seats have been replaced, and an aftermarket Pioneer touchscreen head unit has been installed. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
This first-generation 997 Turbo is among the last of the 911s to have been equipped with a legendary Mezger engine. The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine is factory-rated 480 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque, delivered to all four wheels through a sought-after 6-speed manual transmission. In stock form, the vehicle can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.7 seconds with a top speed north of 190 MPH. Performance has been upgraded with a TechArt exhaust system. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported, and the seller notes a recent oil change. The CARFAX report shows 20 service history entries.

@52172 pretty common for a 17 year old car they all show the same. We dont believe in cleaning the under carriage for sale. We like to show how perfect it is for a 48K miles 997 Turbo. KEY thing is no rust lets not distract the convo here :)

@1974Bronco as someone who has built multiple cars I can be on both ends of the spectrum However I do appreciate a nice build that I can get a deal on. This one checks all boxes and yes the flood comment was truly hilarious and rubbish at its ultra level. A true blank check build would have pinned cams and pinned or welded coolant lines.
I get it’s a great car but at the end of the day it’s a turbo 997 6 speed with 50000 miles with original drive train and suspension. The owner has the money so he change a lot of things to new.
It just depends on the customer, I have a 97 C2S that has had a repaint and you would think listening to some that it’s worthless based on that one issue.
Absolutely beautiful car but would be very surprised if most of these things needed change out unless the car was not cared for to begin with

You can almost tell how pristine it is without even looking at the pictures. Besides all of the history, just look how terrified the second owner was to do anything with it.

Window sticker says black. What a unique color change choice. Trying to decide if I like it or not. Looks great without the decals though. And that DME? Comically clean for the mileage. First owner spent BIG money on this thing. Wow.
