Refinished in Liquid Metal Silver, this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe pairs a desirable 6-speed manual transmission with its race-derived, twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six. The car was factory-specified with the Sport Chrono Package Turbo, Black full leather upholstery, Switch Panel Leather Package, additional leather interior appointments, aluminum interior components, and more. Modifications include TechArt spoilers and side skirts, a TechArt exhaust and short shifter, and 20” HRE wheels. Retained by its original owner for approximately 12 years, this two-owner 997 Turbo is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Georgia while showing less than 48k miles on the odometer.

Originally specified in Black, this 997 was refinished under the original caretaker in the current shade of Liquid Metal Silver, a shade exclusively offered for the legendary Porsche 918 Spyder. Factory equipment includes Turbo-specific bumpers, wide fenders, and integrated side air intakes, and an optional model designation delete. Modifications comprise clear side markers, body-colored TechArt front and rear lower spoilers, a TechArt speed-activated rear wing, and silver 20” HRE wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2016. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin presents Black full leather upholstery. Options include the Leather PCM Package, Leather Switch Panel Package, leather instrument surrounds, a leather rear center console, aluminum/leather-trimmed gear lever & handbrake, an aluminum footrest, illuminated stainless steel door entry guards, and a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial. The seller states that a TechArt short shifter was fitted, the seats have been replaced, and an aftermarket Pioneer touchscreen head unit has been installed. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.

This first-generation 997 Turbo is among the last of the 911s to have been equipped with a legendary Mezger engine. The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine is factory-rated 480 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque, delivered to all four wheels through a sought-after 6-speed manual transmission. In stock form, the vehicle can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.7 seconds with a top speed north of 190 MPH. Performance has been upgraded with a TechArt exhaust system. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported, and the seller notes a recent oil change. The CARFAX report shows 20 service history entries.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, an air pump, sales literature, and a collection of documentation.
The seller would like you to know: “The 997 generation is our favorite Porsche—especially the Turbo, GT3, and GT3 RS—because it represents the perfect balance of old meets new. A 997 Turbo with a manual transmission is the ultimate Porsche, and this particular example is simply too unique not to bring to PCARMARKET. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better 997 Turbo Manual anywhere. Just look at the color, the condition, and the money invested. We can’t wait to see who buys this car and where she ships to!”

Good Morning. great lazy Monday here! Can't wait to see where she goes
@chillimd this I definitely agree.
@52172 pretty common for a 17 year old car they all show the same. We dont believe in cleaning the under carriage for sale. We like to show how perfect it is for a 48K miles 997 Turbo. KEY thing is no rust lets not distract the convo here :)
Lots of oxidation on undercarriage car has been driven on winter roads
@1974Bronco as someone who has built multiple cars I can be on both ends of the spectrum However I do appreciate a nice build that I can get a deal on. This one checks all boxes and yes the flood comment was truly hilarious and rubbish at its ultra level. True keyword warriors for sure but we love it those folks if they ever showed up at our place would be walked away before they can utter excuse me 😂😂😂😂
@chillimd that’s not a big deal people do make it though esp non owners lol I am glad original owner left something for the other owners :)
A true blank check build would have pinned cams and pinned or welded coolant lines.
I get it’s a great car but at the end of the day it’s a turbo 997 6 speed with 50000 miles with original drive train and suspension. The owner has the money so he change a lot of things to new.
It just depends on the customer, I have a 97 C2S that has had a repaint and you would think listening to some that it’s worthless based on that one issue.
Absolutely beautiful car but would be very surprised if most of these things needed change out unless the car was not cared for to begin with
I want it too but not willing to pay for what one person was willing to spend. Is it added value is in the mind of the buyer.
I have to say the flood comment was funny.
Bid in the amount of $90,000
We have been blown away by the number of emails and calls on this. This is truly a unique one and we are so excited to see this go to a great new home. A true blank check build
@Pm1177 hahah I was waiting for this to come up. Those idiots on forums can’t tell nothing. If you look that came up when original owner was selling the car. With all the invoices and original project details by thr shop that did the work that fake news by good for nothing forum members should be put to rest 😂😂😂😂
Any flood history ? Google search of vin comes up with fair amount of discussion around the change in color?

You can almost tell how pristine it is without even looking at the pictures. Besides all of the history, just look how terrified the second owner was to do anything with it.
@Snolvr thanks for reminding us on DME. That was with the paperwork we will shortly get the latest DME for this listing right away
Our other 997 is a black TechArt turbo and TBH this one looks way way amazing
Original owner gave a blank check to the shop and we doubt anyone else will be able to match this
@DubbleDeez1 thank you! 918 color match was next level choice we are truly in love. It was a blank check build by one of the finest shops in New York
@Snolvr I missed that on the sticker, than you... This new color is stunning!
Window sticker says black. What a unique color change choice. Trying to decide if I like it or not. Looks great without the decals though. And that DME? Comically clean for the mileage. First owner spent BIG money on this thing. Wow.
what was the original color of the car?
coolant line and cam issue been addressed?
Give us a call we can schedule a showing here at our dealership
Where may I see the car? I'm pretty close to your location. Thanks, Mike E
