Up for auction is a highly optioned 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo. The 997 model is becoming the car of choice by many enthusiasts due to its sporty nature and visceral feel. This example features a desirable color combination, 6-speed manual transmission, low mileage, and exclusive options, making it stand out among the rest. The car was sold new at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter before eventually making its way to Pennsylvania where it currently resides with the seller.
The desirable Basalt Black Metallic paint is stated to be in excellent condition showing minimal wear. This Turbo features special ordered full-red taillights that complement the car wonderfully. A set of factory Turbo wheels are equipped and wear Michelin Super Sport tires with ample tread life remaining.
The interior is where this Turbo shines. Finished in Carrera Red, this full natural leather interior is stated to be in excellent condition with minimal wear. Beautifully contrasting carbon fiber can be found throughout the cabin including the shift knob, emergency brake handle, cup holder trim, and door entry floor guards. Additional exclusive options include: heated/adaptive sport seats with exterior color-matched backs, deviated stitching thought the cabin, a thicker leather steering wheel, Porsche crests in headrests, and desirable Sport Chrono package.
Power comes from the legendary 3.8L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine, that delivers approximately 488 bhp and 457 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. This power plant is paired with a highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission and makes for a pure and visceral driving experience. A few service items were addressed by the seller including new hydraulic for the rear wing. The Carfax report indicates consistent maintenance performed throughout this car's life.
Originally developed for the 911 GT1 Le Mans car, the Mezger engine is regarded by many Porsche experts as the holy grail of water-cooled engines. Featuring a true dry sump and crank driven oil pumps, this engine resists oil surge in even the most aggressive cornering. Furthermore, this GT1 derived engine doesn’t suffer from IMS bearing related issues as its oil system ensures constant lubrication.
The sale will include a clean Carfax, service records, all books, and keys.

@mcotml.com the market shall decide! With a normal interior I think this would fetch $80k. Glwts

@Gq34 I beg to differ. The fact that the interior is not black is rare. Also, this one has contrasting black carpets--super rare for that period--and matching painted seat backs so there is plenty of upside to this interior combination. I think it's a huge draw. I assume most would agree with me.

Beautiful exterior - what is going to be the discount for that interior? Looks to be more of a penalty than the $15k or so the automatics are trading below...
Also, the vehicle has ZERO previous paint and body work. Pictures of paint readings were just sent over. Thank you.
Sorry to all for the delayed response. I have sent an image of the DME which will be posted shortly. I will be monitoring the auction from now until the end so I will respond to any questions immediately.
@MezgerTT There was clear bra on the entire front of the car when it arrived. We had it removed because it was starting to fade. At this time there is no film but the paint was protected otherwise. There are no chips, scratches, or dents on the vehicle. It is in virtually showroom new condition.

@mcotml.com - I’ve bid on car - Few questions:
Any paint protection, such as Expel clear film on car. Also, any rock chips on fenders, hood or nose? And do you have any paint meter readings and a DME report?
Thanks.

@mcotml.com Dear seller. I see the details show this as a dealer car. If sold through dealership do taxes and/or dealer fees apply or are they already figured into the final purchase price.
@Pelicanlead-23 Thanks for the look. Yes, we do accept trades. Feel free to email or call with details. --David
