The second generation of Porsche’s GT3, the 997 version debuted in 2006 with new Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), advanced “zero lift” aerodynamics, and a new 3.6-liter Mezger engine producing over 400 HP. This 2008 example has been refinished in white over black leather and Alcantara interior, featuring the Sport Chrono Package, Sound Package Plus, Bi-Xenon headlights, and red taillights. Showcasing an array of custom modifications including monochrome Porsche crests, 19” Kinesis Super Cup wheels, a GT3 RS lightweight flywheel, and a Guard limited-slip differential, this example is now being offered with approximately 43k miles on the odometer.
This example has been refinished in White and protected with a full ceramic coating and paint protection film along the entire front end, mirrors, side rocker panels, lower quarter panels, lower rear bumper, and mirrors. The GT3 features an iconic rear wing and a revised factory front fascia. This example has also been factory equipped with the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package and red taillights. Aftermarket upgrades include a Rennline radiator mesh grille, monochrome Porsche crests, and staggered-width 19” Kinesis Super Cup wheels mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller notes the car was completely refinished and repaired following damage to the front end and passenger side under previous ownership in 2019. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.
The driver is situated within a sporty black leather and Alcantara interior. Commanding an original MSRP totaling over $112k, this GT3 comes with the optional heated front seats, Sound Package Plus, and Sport Chrono Package without PCM. Modifications include the lower dashboard wrapped in suede with red contrast stitching and a matching 12 o’clock stripe performed by Dallas Custom Steering Wheel, as well as a roll bar and a Numeric Racing short shifter. The seller notes minor wear on some areas of the plastic trim.
The 997 GT3 houses a 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine which was originally developed for racing applications and features a dry-sump lubrication system. As much as 415 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, launching the GT3 from 0-60 MPH is approximately 4 seconds onto a top speed north of 190 MPH. Standard performance features include a locking rear differential, traction control, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and vented disc brakes paired with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear clippers. The seller adds that mechanical upgrades include a GT3 RS lightweight flywheel, pinned coolant lines, a Guard limited-slip differential, Tractive coilovers, Giro two-piece rotors, and the deletion of the mufflers. Additionally, a 40k-mile service is said to have been performed within the last 1k miles, including the installation of new brake pads and a new steering rack.
This sale will include a clean title and two keys.

@rmw thanks for the positive words!
what a sweet deal someone may be getting if this beauty sells for less than $125,000, I like the honesty and transparency of the seller, and the car is perfection exactly the way it is
@Slawsome - Thank you for confirming, and I personally think that is an exceptionally cool detail. GLWTA!
@RumbleAuto you are correct only the rs came
from the factory with a non sunroof. When i repaired the car I did the non sunroof conversion using all oem parts. I thought that was in the description sorry about that.
Interestingly, I've read numerous times that all 997.1 GT3s were equipped with sunroofs by PCNA, and this car is a sunroof delete model. The 997.1 GT3 RS cars had no sunroofs, and ROW 997.1 GT3s were available without sunroofs as well. Does the seller know if this car was converted to being sunroof-free at a later date? I only ask because this seems highly unusual, albeit very cool. Thanks, and GLWTA!

Love the white brakes
@jaynar yes I could pull the roll bar if the new owner doesn’t want it.

If the buyer doesn’t want the roll bar, are you able to remove it before the car ships?
@ArjuN911 I didn’t have a duramtetic to clear it before I took that vid, I uploaded a new clip showing it off. I’ll make sure that gets added along with dme report.
Why does the dash show service now considering it was serviced recently?

@Cozad1955 i do I’ll make sure that get uploaded as well.
do you have a report on any over revs?
@Flsupraguy if anyone checks the add an reads the comments about the air bags being deployed that is untrue. I recieved the car with a set of aftermarket buckets which trigged the air bag light. I didn’t replace any airbags, I just put factory seats back in a cleared the code.
I added some paint readings of doors, quarters and roof. I didn’t take any of the front due to the ppf. They should be updated shortly.

@rmw I did all the repair and paint work. I own a small restoration shop. I replaced the pass qt and rocker panel along with a factory slick top roof skin. Aside from the damage shown the only other issues were chips and scratches on a few other panels that’s why i decided on doing a full respray instead of just painting the damaged areas.
All the glass was removed and the front windshield was replaced. I have pics of all of this if needed for confirmation. I can get some paint readings but they are gonna be high due to the respray, not from any hidden bodywork.
Theres no way to repaint a panel and have it close to the factory mil.
Hi who repainted this car and was glass removed or masked? Any panels replaced? Can seller provide paint meter readings to confirm if any amount of filler and bondo

@bents story was driver lost control on the track an hit a tire barrier only other damage from that was one of the front radiators which was replaced prior to me purchasing the car. I didn’t have to do any mechanical repairs just the cosmetic damage you see.
Looks like tire wall damage. Any details on the accident beyond the photo? What was repaired other than bodywork?
