The 987/997's will age well. Even the ones with the non-serviceable bearings, it is a virtually a non-issue given the extremely low failure rate. I currently have a 987 Boxster, but once I've had enough of the convertible thing (I'm in Canada, short season) this will be my next Porsche. I'm envious of the buyer of this car!
Clean, stock, nice options. I've owned my 2005 997.1 S for 3 years and decided it's one of the best 911's I've owned. Stock with bearing upgrade. I think this era will do quite well over time given its' great looks and of course 3 pedal setup. GLWS.

Nice! I’ll be watching
Hello - PCar Market!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as the seller. This car was originally purchased as a long term hold, but a move overseas has forced the sale. This is a well optioned 2008 997.1 in near concourse condition. There is not a single scratch, dent or ding that I can spot on the car anywhere. And I'm pretty particular... Not to mention the 2008 is the 997 to own with an upgraded case which makes IMS problems a nonissue. "From 2005 – 2008 the base Carrera was fitted with an engine given the M96 designation. However this non-S 997.1 engine was really a mix of M97 case, Cayman cylinder heads, and M96 cylinder heads. Owners of these car likely have the same 6305 bearing as their 3.8-liter brethren."
I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Bid with confidence, this car is a 10/10!
