Finished in the exceptionally rare shade of Dark Olive Metallic over a Black and Sand Beige interior, this 2008 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet pairs an optional Tiptronic S gearbox with its naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six. It was also configured with 19” Carrera Sport wheels, a leather three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, the Power Seat Package, heated front seats, and more. Acquired by the seller in April 2024 at about 26k miles, this garage-stored and meticulously maintained C4S is now available for auction out of Massachusetts showing approximitely 43k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is factory-finished in highly sought-after Dark Olive Metallic paint, paired with a black convertible soft top. Distinguishing from the contemporary Carrera, the 4S model features wider rear fenders and red brake calipers. Options include self-dimming mirrors, a Porsche windstop, and 19” Carrera Sport wheels. An additional set of wheels and tires will accompany the sale. The seller notes that new Morimoto taillights have been fitted, while XPEL paint protection film covers the front, sides, and rear quarter panels. Inside, the driver is greeted with two-tone Black and Sand Beige upholstery. Additional options include heated front seats, the Power Seat Package, a leather-wrapped three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and interior-colored floor mats. An Alpine head unit with Bluetooth connectivity has been fitted, and the factory Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system will be included in the sale.
Factory-rated at 355 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine drives all four wheels through an optional 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The seller states oil changes were performed every 3k–4k miles, with samples sent to Speedtronix for analysis every other service, all showing normal results. Service under prior ownership was handled by Autobahn in Peabody, Massachusetts, where a multi-point inspection was also completed upon the seller’s acquisition. Under current ownership, the steering rack was replaced at Stuttgart Northeast in Danvers, Massachusetts, at approximately 32k miles. Additional maintenance includes a new battery installed in fall 2024, along with a BMC lifetime engine air filter, cabin filter, and fresh brake fluid.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, an additional set of wheels with tires, and the original PCM system.

@G-Dub Hi G-Dub, I uploaded the build sheet to the photo gallery. Note to all bidders: I do not have possession of the Wind Deflector. I do have the canvas case/bag for the Wind Deflector, but I do not have the Wind Deflector itself. It is possible that it is installed in the vehicle and I simply do not know how to deploy it - I have never used it.

Regarding the extra set of wheels, I will upload a photo of the 18'' wheels as well. I am including them in the sale because I do not wish to sell them separately and thought it would be a nice gesture and show of good faith to include them in the purchase. The tires on the extra set are practically brand-new. The car rides much softer on the 18'' wheels. The 4S was not originally delivered with them at the time of my purchase - I purchased the wheels from a private seller and ordered the tires and had them installed thereafter. I am also including the OEM PCM in the sale, which was original to the car from factory.

@NHPorscheguy I agree, and I will say being on the taller side at 6'4'', it was a perfectly comfortable ride each time - just as comfortable as my previous S6 and even the SQ5. Not as comfortable as my wife's Cayenne but much more enjoyable. Most reliable car I've ever owned. Best 17k miles of my life so far.

Wow, 17k miles driven in 15 months of ownership. Unusual to see in a 911, but also kind of refreshing that somebody really enjoyed the car and not just buffed it with a diaper. I've always thought about what it would be like to daily a 911.....nice color combination.
