A derivative of the flagship S-Class sedan, the Mercedes-Benz Coupé Luxusklasse (Coupé-Luxury) or CL-Class, is a full-size luxury grand-tourer characterized by its high-end amenities and powerful drivetrain. This 3rd generation C216 version features a sleek B-pillarless design, factory AMG body styling, optional wood trim, and a 5.5-liter V8 engine sending over 380 HP to the rear wheels. It was sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills in 2011 and is said to have been previously owned by a Hollywood studio lease company for use by actors while filming. Sold to its current owner on PCARMARKET in 2020, this CL550 remains on the West Coast where it is now being offered for auction showing approximately 65k miles on the odometer.

This CL is finished in Black and features the factory AMG body styling package (772) which includes a unique front bumper with larger air intakes, side skirts, and a revised rear apron. It rides on polished 19” AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels dressed in Continental tires. The CARFAX report shows very minor damage to have occurred in 2019 and the seller states the front bumper has also been refinished for cosmetic purposes. The cabin is appointed with Black Nappa leather and high gloss burled walnut trim. Other features include a rearview camera, a multifunction steering wheel, climatized Active Multicontour front seats, a satellite radio receiver, Thermotronic automatic climate control, an electric sunblind for the rear window, Night View Assist Plus, Bi-Xenon headlights with cornering, ambient lighting, and the Harman Kardon Logic 7 Surround-Sound System. The seller notes the analog clock does not keep time.

A naturally aspirated M273 5.5-liter V8 engine sends 382 HP and 391 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed Sport automatic transmission, providing a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds.  Factory performance features include speed-sensitive power steering and Mercedes Active Body Control (ABC) which minimizes body roll through a semiactive suspension setup. The CARFAX report shows a history of maintenance including service at Quality Star Benz in 2021.
