The Gallardo Superleggera was introduced in 2007 as the lightweight high-performance version of Lamborghini’s mid-engined V10 supercar, said to weigh around 126 pounds less than the standard version thanks to the use of carbon fiber bodywork and carbon fiber sport seats. Reportedly one of only 172 examples built for the United States during the one-year production run, this Superleggera is finished in Nero Noctis over a Nero Perseus Alcantara interior and was optioned with a 6-speed E-Gear automated manual transmission and carbon-ceramic brakes. Originally titled in California, this Gallardo was relocated to Texas in 2008 and remained there before being acquired by the seller in 2020. Showing approximately 6,410 miles on the odometer, this 2008 Gallardo Superleggera is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of Texas.
The exterior is finished in Nero Noctis (LY9B) and features a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, rear decklid, side skirts, mirror housings, and the optional “high” rear wing. Additional weight-saving measures include a thinner windshield than the standard Gallardo, a carbon fiber undertray and central tunnel, and polycarbonate used on some panels instead of standard glass. This Superleggera is equipped with bi-xenon headlights and black brake calipers over cross-drilled carbon-ceramic discs, fronted by 19” multi-spoke wheels manufactured by Speedline which are mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with date codes from 2021.
The cabin is upholstered in Nero Perseus Alcantara with 8-way power adjustable carbon fiber sport seats featuring white accents and Superleggera script on the bolsters, with carbon fiber trim on the center console, door panels, steering wheel, and instrument cluster. Amenities include dual-zone climate control, an aftermarket anti-theft system with remote keyless entry, power and heated side mirrors, an aftermarket Kenwood head unit, a 4-speaker audio system, Superleggera-branded door sill guards, white instrument dials, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, an Alcantara dashboard, a fire extinguisher, and matching floor mats.
The Superleggera is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.0L V10, which was factory rated at 523 HP and 376 lb.-ft of torque, receiving 10 HP more than a standard Gallardo thanks to a redesigned intake and exhaust system, and an upgraded ECU. All four wheels are driven by a 6-speed E-Gear automated manual transmission, a viscous center differential and a rear limited-slip differential, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and a claimed top speed of 196 MPH. Performance features include optional carbon-ceramic brakes, a stiffened suspension, launch control, a front and rear aluminum double wishbone suspension, and electronic stability control. The CARFAX report shows that a maintenance inspection was carried out by Lamborghini of Houston in 2015 at 5540 miles and the suspension and alignment were checked by Elite Cars Group of Spring, Texas in 2015 at 5570 miles.
This sale will include a clean title, a battery tender, and some service documentation.

Has there been no service on the car since the 2015 date mentioned in the description? Do you have a recent clutch-life readout for the car?
