Developed by BMW’s in-house motorsports division as the high-performance version of the 3-series model, this fourth-generation M3 is powered by a naturally aspirated S65 V8 engine paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in Melbourne Red Metallic over a black Novillo leather interior, this Canadian-market 2008 BMW M3 Coupe is also equipped with the Cold Weather, Premium, and Technology Packages, along with modifications including an aftermarket air intake, aluminum front skid plate, upgraded coilovers, and an OEM muffler bypass. Acquired by the seller from a close friend in 2022, this meticulously maintained example is now being offered for auction out of Canada with approximately 93k kilometers or 57k miles showing on the odometer.

Finished in the striking shade of Melbourne Red Metallic, this example can be identified as an M3 by its flared fenders with front air vents, aggressive front and rear fascias, revised front bonnet, aero wing mirrors, sculpted side skirts, and exposed carbon-fiber roof panel. Details also include adaptive xenon headlights, Shadowline trim, M3 badging, a rear decklid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The suspension has been lowered with Ground Control coilovers, and very minor exterior blemishes are noted. A collection of images is provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is outfitted with black Novillo leather. M-specific details include sport seats, a sports steering wheel with tri-color stitching, and M3-branded doorsills. The Cold Weather Package adds heated front seats and a headlight cleaning system, while the Premium Package includes power-folding mirrors, a Bluetooth interface, and upgraded leather trim. Additionally, the Technology Package includes M Drive, Comfort Access, a navigation system, and HD radio.

Beneath the hood lies a naturally aspirated high-compression 4.0-liter V8 engine factory-rated at 414 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven via a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 60 MPH in as little as 4.8 seconds onto an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. Electronic Dampening Control is equipped as standard, which allows the driver to optimize suspension settings based on road conditions. Modifications include an aftermarket air intake, an aluminum front skid plate, and an OEM muffler bypass. The seller adds that the rod bearings were replaced in 2020 at 75k kilometers (~47k miles) and the throttle actuators were replaced in 2023 at 85k kilometers (~53k miles).

This sale will include a Canadian registration, the original springs, and a black grille conversion set.

The seller would like you to know: “My buddy and I both had M cars when we were younger. I had—and still have—a Z3 M Coupe, while he had an Imola Red E46 M3. He sold his after a few years but always regretted it. We would often talk about the E92 M3, and while he wanted another E46, I convinced him the E92 was the one to get.

Fast forward about 10 years—he came across a clean example, and we went to inspect it together. He struck a deal with the seller, but the only catch was that payment had to be made right away. Since some of his funds wouldn’t clear for another week, I fronted the money so he could secure the car.

In 2022, I found myself looking for an E92. We decided it made sense for me to buy his, while he moved on to an E90 that better suited his needs. Since taking ownership, I’ve driven it for 10,000 km and kept up with all required maintenance, including throttle actuators, front steering links and tie rods, two motor oil changes, and one transmission oil change. It’s been a very enjoyable and reliable car.

The paint has just been polished, and modifications include an Active Autowerke intake, aluminum front skid plate, OEM muffler bypass mod, and a Ground Control coilover conversion. I’ll include the original springs, along with a set of black grille conversions (front and side).

I’ve wanted this car since it first came out, and owning one for the past three years has been everything I dreamt of and more. The only reason I’m selling is because I own four other cars, and this M3 steals all the attention—I always choose it over the others. For me, it will forever be the best all-around car.”

Absolutely gorgeous spec in great condition. Carbon roof makes this a top-tier E92. Good luck with this auction!
