The first and only M3 to house a V8 engine, the E90/92/93 series is famed for its high-revving tachometer and performance-focused character. This 2008 E90 M3 comes finished in Jet Black over Black Novillo extended leather generously optioned with the Premium Package, Technology Package, Cold Weather Package, 19” BMW Double Spoke Forged wheels, a glass sunroof, and Enhanced Premium Sound. Custom ordered through Critz BMW of Georgia, this example has been meticulously maintained and garage-kept by its first and only owner since new. It is now being offered for auction out of its home state with approximately 56k miles on the odometer.
The M3 is distinguishable by its widened wheel arches, front fender vents, aggressive fascias, flared side skirts, aluminum power dome hood, quad exhaust tips, and rear decklid spoiler. This example is finished in Jet Black, featuring Shadowline trim and optional 19” BMW Double Spoke Forged wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires. Additional details include adaptive xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and a glass sunroof. The seller notes the driver and passenger doors were previously refinished after minor cosmetic damage. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report.
This example was optioned with a Black Novillo extended leather interior and the optional Premium Package which includes power-folding mirrors, Blue-gray brushed aluminum trim, a digital compass mirror, and BMW Assist, while the Technology Package adds Comfort Access keyless entry and ignition, a BMW navigation system, an upgraded sound system, M Drive selectable drive modes, and Electronic Damping Control, which allows the driver to adjust the stiffness of the shock absorbers via a button mounted on the center console. Enhanced Premium Sound has also been opted for, along with Cold Weather Package, providing fold-down rear seats, heated front seats, and retractable headlight washers. The seller notes slight fading to the rear deck material, as depicted in the gallery.
A naturally aspirated high-compression S65 4.0-liter V8 engine lies beneath the hood, generating up to 414 HP at a redline of 8,300 RPM. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission with a Variable M Differential Lock. Compared with a standard 3-Series, the M3 receives larger brakes, stiffer rubber bushings, shorter and stiffer springs, and larger anti-roll bars. The exhaust system has been upgraded with a Billy Boat cat-back, providing freer breathing and a sportier exhaust tone. The seller adds that this M3 has been routinely serviced and has not seen track use. A CARFAX report with available maintenance history is provided in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title, a window sticker, and owner’s manuals.

For those unaware, the factory exhaust for E9x M3s have different part numbers between the sedan and coupe/convertible (though I can't remember if coupe and convertible share a part number). The coupe/vert have longer exhaust tips that look "off" when put on a sedan. So while M3 exhausts may be cheap and easy to find, I remember searching for an E90 M3 exhaust around 2013 and they were harder to find and more expensive. Now a shipping will be even more ridiculous. I'd say this stock exhaust turning up and conveying is a good deal for prospective buyers wanting the stock sound or something they could turn around and make a few bucks selling.
EXHAUST - I was just in my warehouse and I found the original exhaust that we removed from the car years ago. FYI to those who were asking. Yes it can come with the car if you want it.
FYI - regarding the mileage on the CARFAX - We spoke with the Service manager at Critz BMW on Monday - I had an email this morning from him that they have opened a mileage discrepancy case with Carfax. They fully acknowledge the error.

Beautiful M3 - with regard to the rear deck fading- is this the inside rear deck behind the back seat headrests or are you referring to the truck deck lid?

@ahafiz89 Yes Cat-Back all polished stainless
@ahafiz89 The car after the last service at Critz BMW was clearly out of warranty and service was continued by independent shops in Tampa and Savannah. The car will come with any records he still has.
@ahafiz89 I went and looked - you are correct - Also note to prior question regarding.
@jfrazar Yeah I looked up the brand looked like retailed around mid $2k's..I am sure it sounds nice. Luckily its not too hard to locate an e90 exhaust replacement> just to make sure, its a cat back correct?
@Firewood We do not. Would recommend getting pre-approved with a local credit union or bank to you. Or contact one of the classic car finance companies.
@jfrazar In picture #80 you can see the sagging in the cassette liner
@ahafiz89 WE DO NOT HAVE THAT ANYMORE - Should have held on to it. I can tell you this the exhaust is not some loud obnoxious exhaust - Very nice improvement in my opinion. It is just right.
@ahafiz89 NO ISSUE AT ALL WITH THE SUNROOF LINER
What services have been done in the past 8 years since last carfax recording 2014
Very tempted. Truly a sweet-looking ride. Do you guys offer financing, assuming a good credit rating? Thanks.
Will the original exhaust accompany the car
@seller Will sunroof liner be repaired/replaced prior to new owner transfer?
Also, is the car in Tampa or Georgia?
Clearly he didn't put on 32,000 miles in a few months lol.
@jfrazar Thanks for the added info!
Bid in the amount of $1,250
@Firewood - Look at the bottom of the Full photo pack - It is showing now.
To the others who asked about Rod Bearings, Throttle Bodies Ect. - This car has lived a very easy life. My client owns 8 cars, he buys them all brand new and keeps them for many years. He sells them after replacing them with another. This car had been replaced by a new M2 Competition; not because anything was wrong with the M3. Let's just say he has the means. When he first purchased the car, it had regular use in Savannah and was later moved to his home in Tampa. He owns the penthouse in a high rise in downtown Tampa. He never spared a single expense or need on this or any of his cars.
The Carfax issue was a big shock to me and I should have caught this earlier. I have sent him a copy of the Carfax via email and spoken with him about this - He is contacting Critz Mercedes BMW today. Clearly this was an error by their service writer.
The car is serviced, new Michelin Tires. The AC blows Ice cold - Runs and Drivers Perfectly - No Excuses needed for a 1 owner example of a never tracked M3.

Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@Firewood - I posted it Saturday - Let me do it again on my desk top
Seller, are you having an issue posting the odometer photo? For now can you please just state the mileage that the odometer currently shows? Is it 56k? Or 72k? Or something different? Also, is the odometer definitely working?
Couple of other questions: have the rod bearings been addressed?
If not, has there been a recent Blackstone oil analysis done?
Last, does the AC blow strong & cold?
Thank you!
Forgive me if I somehow missed it, but I do not see the odometer pic. Thanks!
I doubt these have been repaired/replaced based on the mileage of the vehicle but I figured I would ask. Rod Bearings, Throttle Body Actuators, Idle Control Valve, Valve Cover and Gasket. Looks like a well-maintained car.
I can’t find the current mileage picture…
@335isg this is not permitted
Bid in the amount of $1,000
@335isg what a smart qiestion?
What’s the reserve price?
Bid in the amount of $250
Just added photo of odometer
Very cool M3. I may be bidding. But what is the current mileage showing on the odometer right now? Thanks.
@moje36 I have reached out to my client that owns the car. So we can get this fixed.
Could you get this corrected and documented?
@moje36 you are correct - That was a fat finger input by Critz. I will post a close up of the odometer tonight.
Joe Frazar
Hello. Beautiful ride. Could you clear up the mileage info?!
Ad says 56k
Carfax reports 72k in 2014
Thank you
