Offered for auction is this 2008 Bentley Continental GTC finished in Silver Tempest Metallic over a Saddle leather interior. The convertible variant of Bentley's Continental GT Coupe was released in 2006 featuring a triple-layer soft top built by Karmann of Germany. This 2008 GTC came optioned with the Mulliner Driving Package which provides quilted leather upholstery, embroidered Bentley logos, burl walnut interior trim, drilled aluminum pedals, and 20” multi-piece wheels. This Bentley was originally sold in New York and had spent most of its life in Florida maintained by Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale before moving back to the Northeast in 2016. Cared for by three prior owners and with just over 29k miles showing on the odometer, this Continental GTC is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This GTC comes finished in Silver Tempest Metallic (LK7S) with an insulated black convertible top that can be raised or lowered in approximately 25 seconds at speeds up to 19 MPH. The exterior is described to be in excellent condition with some minor rock chips on the nose and a small mark on the driver-side front wheel. Equipment includes a chrome matrix front grille, HID headlamps with washers, front and rear foglights, power-closing trunk lid, and dual oval exhaust outlets. The Mulliner-spec 20” multi-piece wheels feature Bentley center caps and are mounted with Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires from 2012.
The cabin is upholstered in fine Saddle leather extending from the seats to the center console, lower dashboard, and door panels with a contrasting black upper dashboard, armrests, and multi-function steering wheel. Standard features include heated 16-way front seats, four-zone automatic climate control, deep-pile carpeting, Bentley-branded treadplates, push-button ignition, a center-mounted Breitling analog clock, a 10-speaker premium sound system, and a 7” LCD infotainment screen with navigation. The optional Mulliner Package adds burl wood veneers, quilted diamond-stitched seat inserts with embroidered Bentley insignias, and drilled aluminum pedals.
The Bentley GTC is powered by a hand-crafted 6.0L twin-turbocharged W12 that was factory rated at 552 HP and 479 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen center differential. The GTC can reach 60 MPH in as little as 4.7 seconds while reaching a top speed of over 190 MPH with the top up. Performance features include an adjustable air suspension system and 16” brake rotors with multi-piston calipers. Accompanying service records date back to 2015 and show new upper control arm bushings installed along with a new serpentine belt idler pulley in 2015, new spark plugs in January of 2022, and a new battery installed in February of 2022. Additional maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include a clean title, a set of two keys, owner’s manuals, and a battery charger. Offering luxurious accommodations and tasteful factory finishes, this Bentley GTC awaits its next owner.

@Jimlerbs Hey Jim. thanks for the question and the nice comment, truly appreciated. Regarding the oxygen sensors or vacuum lines, I don't know. As far as records and maintenance, I only have the records that are uploaded on the site since 2015 when my client bought the car. Sorry I couldn't help more. The car runs and drives extremely well without any sensors or lights on.

Beautiful vehicle and a great driving car. Love the color.
Do you know if the vacuum lines and oxygen sensors have been replaced, and if so, when? It is an expensive service requiring the engine to be dropped. I believe that there are four on these cars.
BTW, I purchased from Ambassador before and they are a great dealer.
Jim
@TomBuddTX The car got a service including new plugs in January, and at that time, didn't need anything else. The only thing I found when I received the car was the large battery that handles the electronics was towards the end of its life, so I replaced that with an Interstate Battery. Nothing else, thanks.
@Ambassador-Auto Thanks.
Anything needing attention?
@TomBuddTX Thanks for the questions. The jumper wire is for the battery tender plug. You can see it in picture 130. There are no leaks, that is a little discoloration on the chassis and can be seen on the other side in the same location, photo 163. Nothing damp or leaking anywhere.
What is the Black Jumper Wire in Photo 136?
Is there a leak showing in Photo 162?
Please clarify.
Thanks!

@Dozer thanks for the question. Yes, the paint is all original. The paint meter photos in the gallery show the consistency.
Is all the paint all original?
@Hoomski Hey Buddy, thanks for reaching out. Here are 2 links to close up walk around videos. I have also asked PCar to upload them to the gallery.

@Steve1231 Thanks for the questions. I have uploaded pictures to PCar Market. The top is in excellent condition showing very little wear inside or out. I included pictures of the back quarters, around the rear window and the inside rear quarters all sowing very little wear. I don't know if it was ever replaced. Regarding the front suspension, as mentioned in the listing and in picture #206 (repair invoice), control arm bushing and some other items were done at that time. Other than that, the car drives excellent, and the front feels great. I also included a picture of the gas cap which seems standard. I hope that helps.
Could you please post photos of the soft top, especially close ups of the rear quarter panels, there is a design issue with these often resulting in excessive wear at this point Is it the original roof? Also, any front suspension issues? I am assuming this vehicle is full Mulliner spec from the seat pattern with Mulliner gas cap etc?
I love looking at a video of a car from a mile away. Shows you all the subtle details! Haha seller must have bought a new drone that he was testing out. How about some close-up videos buddy! Great looking Bentley though.
