Developed by Audi’s performance tuning division, the second-generation RS 4 (B7) featured a high-revving 4.2-liter V8 engine that would go on to power the first-generation Audi R8 supercar. One of approximately 2,000 Audi RS 4s sold in the United States, this 2008 Cabriolet version features a 6-speed manual transmission and comes finished in Daytona Gray over a Black Silk Nappa leather interior. This increasingly collectible modern classic is now being offered for auction with approximately 98k miles on the odometer.
This RS 4 is finished in Daytona Gray with a black power convertible soft top. RS-specific design elements consist of flared wheel arches, a diamond-pattern grille insert, twin-arm mirrors, and a twin-chamber exhaust system. The 19” split-spoke wheels are dressed in Michelin tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is trimmed in Black Silk Nappa leather including 12-way power-adjustable and heated front seats. Details include white contrast stitching, RS 4-designated backrests, and carbon fiber trim throughout the interior. Equipment includes a 3-spoke leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, wind blocker, Bose 9-speaker Premium Audio system, Audi Navigation Plus system, 6-disc CD changer, and Bluetooth capability. The seller notes some signs of wear are present.
The RS 4 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 engine featuring Audi's gasoline direct injection technology (FSI). Up to 420 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque are sent to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro system and a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance equipment includes electronic differential lock and stabilization programs, an RS 4 sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control, RS 4 enhanced brakes, and Sevrotronic power steering. The seller adds that an Audi-approved MTM exhaust has been installed and notable service history includes routine oil changes, decarbonization, and replacements of the suspension system, spark plugs, engine mounts, convertible motor, and coils. Additionally, a 4-wheel alignment and coolant system flush has been recently completed.
This sale will include a clean title and a window sticker.

@tiNillinois we checked all the seals and they are fine. Those 2 spots on the trunk rubber don't look like dry cracks, they look more like something was sat on it and made cuts. Seals are good.
@skl2 just a minute, we'll take a closer look.
There are cracks noticeable in the rubber weather seal on the trunk lid…can you confirm if there are similar on the top, doors, hood seals? Thx
@alloy we see what you're referring to but it hasn't caused any pressure issue . We didn't even notice it until you brought it to our attention.
@alloy it is being uploaded as we speak.
is there a crack in the coolant reservoir on the top? any history of it being replaced?
I don't see the carfax in the gallery even though the listing says its there.
