Built under license from Carroll Shelby, the Superformance MKIII is one of the most highly regarded modern replicas of the iconic Shelby Cobra. This example was produced in 2007 and is finished in silver with black racing stripes and a black leather interior. It derives power from a Roush Performance 402R V8 featuring an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, a Holley Street Avenger 770-cfm carburetor, MSD ignition, and tubular headers. The car also comes equipped with a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission, independent suspension, Wilwood brakes, 15” Hallibrand-style wheels, side-exit exhaust pipes, quick-jack bumperettes, wind wings, a chrome driver’s roll hoop, a 12-volt electrical system, a tonneau cover, and a battery cutoff switch. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this MKIII Cobra replica is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania with approximately 26k miles showing on the odometer.
Mounted to a rectangular steel frame, the lightweight fiberglass bodywork is finished in silver with contrasting black racing stripes. Accessories include chrome quick-jack bumperettes, a chrome driver’s roll hoop, a Talbot Berlin-style mirror, a Le Mans-style polished fuel cap, vented fenders, a hood scoop, wind wings, and side-exit exhaust pipes. The car is accompanied by a black soft top and tonneau cover along with sliding side windows. It rides on 15” Hallibrand-style wheels with knock-off spinners and new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires (2024). The seller notes some cosmetic imperfections on the front end and surface corrosion on the wheel spinners.
The cabin features black leather bucket seats with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Accessories include a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, racing-style safety harnesses, tinted sun visors, a locking glove box, a heater, analog Smiths instrumentation, a Lucas amperage gauge, and a 12-volt charging outlet. The trunk also contains a battery cutoff switch and a fire extinguisher.
Power comes from a Roush Performance 402R V8 engine featuring an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, a Holley Street Avenger 770-cfm carburetor, MSD ignition, and tubular headers. It drives the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic throwout bearing and a QuickTime SFI bellhousing. The car features independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood calipers. The clutch is said to have been replaced in 2016 and service in 2020 included a new water pump, carburetor, spark plugs, and gaskets for the intake manifold, timing cover, and oil pan. Most recently in July 2024, the car received new oil, coolant, and valve cover gaskets.
This sale will include a tonneau cover, soft top, side windows, service records, Superformance literature, and a clean Pennsylvania title for a 2007 Custom.

Has the car ever been registered in California?
I spent more than eight months, trying to register my 2020 super formants Cobra here in California and was denied an SB100 Smog exemption
Eventually sold the car out of substantial loss
Apparently the system has changed a bit recently here in California however, California buyers do your homework regarding registration it’s certainly a process

Bid in the amount of $1,000
Do you have a Carfax report? Any accidents, or damage? Any repairs needed? How many owners?
Beautiful car! Externally looks like the twin to mine, SP01094. More fun than driving most Lambos. This will put a smile on any buyer’s face. GLWS!
