Unveiled in 2005 based upon the 987 Boxster, the original Porsche Cayman featured a sleek fastback coupe design that provided a stiffer chassis and increased storage capacity compared to its open-top counterpart. This 2007 Cayman S comes finished in Atlas Grey Metallic over Sand Beige upholstery. It comes equipped with a Tiptronic S transmission, the Bi-Xenon Headlight Package, heated Sport Seats, automatic climate control, and more. Originally a California car, this 987 is now being offered for auction by its second owner out of Nebraska with approximately 51k miles showing on the odometer.

This Cayman S comes finished in Atlas Grey Metallic and can be distinguished as an “S” model by its red brake calipers and dual center-mounted exhaust. Other features include a speed-activated rear spoiler, front fog lights, side air intakes, an opening rear hatch, and 18” Cayman S wheels. The Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package was also opted for. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing moderate rear-end damage in 2007.

The cabin is trimmed in Sand Beige and features optional Sport Seats, front seat heating, automatic climate control, and PCM 2.1. Other equipment includes steering wheel-mounted Tiptronic S shift buttons, power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, and an AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.

The first-generation Cayman S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine featuring a two-stage resonance induction system, integrated dry-sump lubrication, and VarioCam Plus variable valve timing. As much as 295 HP and 252 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of an optional Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Active Brake Differential (ABD) come standard. The seller states a recent oil change was performed by an authorized Porsche dealer.

This sale will include a clean title, two keys, and owner’s manuals.

The seller would like you to know: “I bought the car in California in early April 2021. I am selling as I have retired, and that changes my circumstances.”

@Griffin13 @777AIA I am trying to contact a shop that has a hoist to lift my car and take the pictures you requested. Both fans are working. The car works, drives and sounds great. But I do not have a video of what you requested.

@srodgrg This reply is to your second questions. The dealer who sold me the car told me the original owner got rear ended about seven months after buying the new car from a CA Porsche dealer. It was a low speed hit and there was no frame or other structural damage. The car went back to that dealer who made the repairs. When my son and I went to pick up the car we examined the rear end and inside and agreed with the owner of the exotic car dealer we could not see the results of the damage or the repairs. Please note that I included pics of the rear wing in its position up and down. It works perfectly. I tried to take another photo of the driver's seat but it did not appear to give a pic of it better than what is included with the ad. The back side of that seat shows a few light streaks. They were there when I bought the car and have not changed in appearance since. The seats show no wear or any deformations and appear in almost new conditions except for those streaks.
I hope you got my response to your first questions. Wayne Griffin@Griffin13

Are both fans working? Any cold start and/or drive video available? Engine compartment photo? Tx
