Known for its balanced and engaging driving dynamics, the second-generation Boxster (987) is built on the success of its predecessor with updated styling and more powerful engines. This 2007 Boxster S is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic with a black convertible soft top and features a 3.4-liter flat-six engine that produces nearly 300 HP and a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller purchased this example in December 2021 and performed extensive maintenance and upgrades during their ownership including the installation of an $8k Soul Performance exhaust, new front brake discs and pads, a new fuel pump, new tires, an OEM Porsche short shifter, new shifter cables, and much more. Accompanied by extensive documentation, this Boxster S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina showing approximately 67k miles on the odometer.
This Boxster S is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and has a black convertible soft top. It rides on factory 18” wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (2022). Hi, No modifications to the ECU.
The Suspension is Stock.
Hi, Regarding CarFax reporting a loan or lien, it was true at that writing but I have a clean and clear title in hand.
PCarMarket is aware of this and has a copy of the title.
Bid in the amount of $12,528
Are there any modifications to the ECU or suspension?
The Carfax report on 12/09/22 shows there is a reported loan or lien on the vehicle. Could you comment?
Bid in the amount of $12,000
@jose_lg There is no DME Report available at this time.
@jose_lg I have not had the cylinders scoped for bore scoring.
It is my understanding engines with bore scoring issues exhibit symptoms such as:
* Audible Tick
* Increase in Oil Consumption
* Sooty Tailpipes
* Soot in the Engine Oil
* Oily/Sooty Bumper Cover
* Cylinder Misfires
This car exhibits none of these symptoms.
Considering mileage, I would assume such a condition would have manifested itself by now.
However, I did ask my shop about having it done and was advised without symptoms it was not necessary.
Nice Boxster. Did you have the engine check for bore scoring issues? Do you have a DME report available to check for over-revs?
@Rinomann1 Thank you for your comment. Not sure which of the five people I have taken for a drive you might be but you are certainly correct.
I have recently ridden and driven this car. It is has a very meticulous owner who has maintained this Boxter in impeccable condition. The new owner will get a terrific Porsche that will provide many miles with many smiles.

I really love this car. I have enjoyed driving it on the back roads of N.C. I hope the next owner will enjoy it as much as I have.
I will be around all week to answer any questions.
