@signde My statement is backed by the service department at the Porsche dealership. I trust them.
I am not a "tune" authority but I suggest the buyer decide whether to keep or delete the tune and rest assured the past mods were for show only and this 911 has been babied at normal revs.
None of the previous suspension additions were designed for or even capable of track use or what this vehicle could unleash, and they are in near perfect condition also.
Bid in the amount of $997
"YES, This 911 has a tune currently, if the new owner wishes to delete the tune and run a DME report it will be accurate but while the tune exists the DME will read nonsensical numbers."
I don't think this is correct. 997 Turbos with tunes are listed for auction all the time but with accurate overrev reports. Removing the tune will not change the report. Yes the tune will have raised the redline so lower rev ranges can be quite high but that is perfectly fine, no rational person cares about those ranges.
Yes the whole DME report thing is silly because the Mezger is a GT pedigree racing engine but it is what it is and just accepted as a normal thing to ask for.
@1990_4X4_964 No dash light issues. I will try to get a video asap.
@1990_4X4_964 Yes Sir the high end air suspension system has been professionally unbolted, crated, and is available to the buyer with other show accessories at no cost.
The Original Porsche PASM suspension has been re installed with all new oem pads & bump stops and fully functional.
With new road force balanced Michelins and a four wheel alignment with receipts from Porsche & Ferrari service dept, this Turbo is tight, smooth and true.
It's hard to tell from the cold start video if all the dash warning lights go out once the car is started. Can you explain if any are remaining on? Ideally could you provide a picture or video showing if any are on? Thank you.
Can you describe what the car is running for shocks and springs? I noticed that when this car was last offered on PCARMARKET it had bags air suspension (https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2007-porsche-911-turbo-15/). I see in the pictures it has been returned to coilovers. Are they lowered at all? Is the PASM active suspension hooked up and is it working?
Bid in the amount of $500
Thank you, I agree and will say the reserve is reasonable so bid with confidence. Certainly a safe investment and profitable future return being one of the very last Mezger engined Twin Turbo Manual shift AWD Coupe.
Most attractive styling of the 911 lineage IMHO
Looks like a 150K Turbo! NICE!
@1990_4X4_964 YES both fully function smooth as new. The spoiler action is also shown in the video.
In all of the pictures the spoiler is extended and the sunroof is pitched up. Can you confirm that the spoiler and sunroof actuation systems are both fully functional?
Wow Carrera white with Terracotta leather! Beautiful spec, of course it would be easy to slap oem bumper covers & air box back on but I love the TechArt additions. Every angle is sexy and The rear is epic.
Low miles too, This one will bring huge money!
@Pflongojr the bumpers are not in our storage but We have access to OEM front & rear bumpers through our parts distributor for an average price of 500 ea. depending on condition. The parts are currently available on ebay and other sources also.
Hello, sorry if I did not see this part , but do you have the OEM bumpers?
@ArtVandelay YES, This 911 has a tune currently, if the new owner wishes to delete the tune and run a DME report it will be accurate but while the tune exists the DME will read nonsensical numbers.
The tune is another simple to remove mod that was not utilized as much as it was discussed at events. It can be kept or removed by new owner.
The BRAND NEW Porsche factory spec Michelin tires are fresh, supple, road force balanced including new TPMS sensors and ready for the winning bidder to safely enjoy!
I do not know of any "pinned" coolant lines being done but will scope that out to be sure.
There are no leaks of any fluids at all.
This show queen has never been abused. Has an exciting history of enthusiast owners whom garage pampered, trailered, and displayed the highest end of accessories available over the years at automotive events igniting the passion of onlookers.
That being said, we do have available brand name accessories which have been carefully removed in the past available to the winning buyer if desired such as sets of tires/a set of 3 piece wheels/suspension components/floor mats, and more at NO additional cost.
All past & present mods bolt on as to protect originality if winner ever desires to simply return vehicle to oem stock.
Welcome Bidders to this auction for what may be the most beautiful 911 Turbo I have ever witnessed in 25 years of business!
I will answer any questions I can for you in a timely fashion and find a factual answer if needed as we near the winning finale.
I saw the post from it's previous Pcar auction. Will you be providing an updated DME report?
@carnut The listing has been updated to reflect that the vehicle currently rides on brand new tires. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Looks like those were older pics of the tires. There's a picture of the invoice in Oct of '23 that shows the installation of 4 new tires. As far as the coolant pipes, there's almost 100% chance they haven't been pinned. They simply don't fail at anywhere even close to this mileage.
I about fell out of my chair when I saw that the tires were 15 years old. That’s like playing Russian roulette with five out of six chambers loaded. Also, you’ve got a wonder why the car had nine owners. I will be interested to hear whether the coolant line have pinned.
Have the engine coolant lines been pinned/welded?
Must be terrifying on 14 year old tires!
