Up for auction is this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe finished in Guards Red over a Stone Grey full leather interior. Since the current owner’s purchase in December of 2019, this Turbo has been completely gone through and treated to over $15k worth of maintenance, cosmetic and performance improvements including ceramic coating, paint protection film, a full Soul exhaust system, a Cobb stage-1 tune and H&R sport lowering springs. Highlighting a legendary twin-turbocharged Mezger engine, this 997 Turbo is currently located in Ohio where it is said to be in outstanding overall condition while showing just under 70k miles on the odometer.
The classic Guards Red finish on this Turbo is noted to be in superb condition, preserved under a full treatment of ceramic coating as well as clear protective film on the front-end, rocker guards and wheel arches (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). The seller indicates that the front bumper was professionally refinished under their ownership in order to address some license plate holes. Visual modifications include window tint and H&R sport lowering springs which provide an aggressive stance complementing the factory Turbo wheels. These wheels are said to be in good shape with Hankook Ventus Evo 2 tires currently installed.
Inside, the driver is situated in a Stone Grey full leather interior. The cabin is said to be in excellent condition and the seller reports that the center console was professionally refinished and covered in clear paint protective film under their ownership. Having commanded an original sticker price of over $144k, this Turbo highlights the following list of exclusive options:
This 997 is equipped with a highly sought-after 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine which offers an impressive stock output of 480 HP. All four wheels are driven by way of a refined 5-speed Tiptronic S auto transmission making for a factory 0-60 time of approximately 3.4 seconds. In addition to its lowering springs, this example has been upgraded with a Soul full exhaust system as well as a Cobb stage 1 tune with a handheld accessport tuner. The Sport Chrono Package is included and the factory PCCB brakes were painted red, converted to iron brake discs and equipped with corresponding pads to minimize replacement costs. Upon the seller’s recent purchase, this Turbo was completely gone through by two different shops and found to be in exceptional mechanical order. All due maintenance is reportedly up to date and this Turbo is said to drive beautifully.
The sale of this Turbo will include 1 master key, owner’s books, a Cobb accessport tuner and some service records as well as the original springs and exhaust system. Showcasing exciting performance upgrades and tasteful factory options, this desirable Mezger Turbo is not to be overlooked.

I’ve seen this car multiple times ... Red is the color for the 997 ( minus Rivera blue PTS of course lol) and this example looks near new , the exhaust has a great note and the stance is perfect , zero worries buying this car
@gbarrett you’re very welcome during our ownership we also replaced the interior trim door handle as well as installed the factory oem wheels.
@collectorcars @collectorcarschicago your comment, bud and previous mechanical recordings are greatly appreciated! It has been a fantastic car.
Bid in the amount of $25,000
@GBarrett actually these are the PCCB's the prior owner to us painted the calipers red.
Also bidders please note while we owned the car it was serviced at Barnaba Autosport, they did replace the cooling system with Sharkwerks stainless coolant pipe kit, coolant pipes were replaced as well as lines were pinned, we spent close to $4k on this service.
All the best in the sales process, this was a truely fun and remarkable car!
@WCG no I do not as they were already removed when I purchased the car.
@Gbarrett, do you have the original PCCB components?
@jaynar very realistic, look forward to moving to the next home for lots of enjoyment.
@9under63 I will get receipts and get them posted ASAP. The tune and exhaust were installed less than 1,500 miles ago. I know that the tune is risky for some but all personal preference. I just cannot ever talk myself into driving a quiet car. I also have the factory exhaust and tips that are in great shape.
Is it possible to post receipts for recent service work and upgrade parts. Any specs on the tune?
Will be interesting to see where this comes out. GLWS
Lovely color but going to really get dinged for 1) automatic 2) mileage and 3) some folks don't like mods - though I think they are appropriate here. I'd guess $60,000.....toward the bottom of the 997TT range....
Bid in the amount of $12,000
Have the cooling lines been welded or pined?
Hope it has a realistic reserve :)
