Featuring a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its twin-turbocharged Mezger engine, this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo comes finished in Speed Yellow over a Black full leather interior. The car was factory equipped with optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Sport Chrono Package Turbo, and a rear differential lock and has been fitted with a set of aftermarket Vorsteiner wheels. This 997 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing approximately 27k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in the iconic Porsche color of Speed Yellow and features matching yellow calipers as part of the ceramic braking system. The Turbo is distinguished by model-specific bumpers, wide fenders with integrated side air intakes, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. This example rides on aftermarket black-painted 19” Vorsteiner VFF101 wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The seller notes clear paint protection film is applied over the front end and clear stone guards are installed on the rear quarters. Removable tints are also applied on the taillights as well as a carbon fiber vinyl wrap on the lower front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black full leather interior is complemented by a Speed Yellow painted center console and features optional heated supple leather seats. Other accessories include the optional ParkAssist system, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, an electric sunroof, and a Bose sound system.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine delivers up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional locking rear differential. Stopping power comes from optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) which offer excellent fade resistance and a 37 lb. weight savings compared to standard cross-drilled discs. The CARFAX report shows a history of service that was primarily carried out at Porsche dealers.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Jeremy I saw that and wondering also.. the tow hook on front bumper
A few questions (sorry for the list!)
1)Any paintwork or bodywork of any kind whatsoever?
2) What is the condition and age of the tires?
3) What is the condition of the brake rotors?
4) Does the sport chrono (and everything else in the car) operate as it should?
5) Does it need anything at all?
6) Are the marks on the passenger side of the front bumper in the video just bugs? Does it come off?
7) Why are you selling?
It looks beautiful, thanks!

@Richbob yes it’s hydraulic and no everything works on the car perfectly
I don’t believe the warranty is active anymore
I can look through the original paperwork
Sorry, one more question: is the spoiler still hydraulic, and, if so, any problems with it?
Just to be clear: you purchased it CPO in 2015, so the CPO warranty expired in 2021 - correct?
@Richbob Honestly I haven’t a clue
I’ve owned the car for about eight years and drove it 6000 miles it sat on a car left in my garage drove it on Sundays never in the rain or the snow since I’ve owned it
The only thing I did was put the wheels on it that’s it far as I know the motor is untouched
Beautiful car - love Speed Yellow - don't know why they would change to Racing Yellow! Due to the fact that the car has apparently lived it's whole life in cold climates, is there any indication of bore scoring? I know: "Metzg:er Engine", but I have heard of bore scoring on Turbos, so I was wondering if you have had the bores scoped, just to be sure?
This car has been driven. I wouldn’t personally be concerned about the ignitions on range five. Now this is what Porsche says if you have ignitions in range 4 or five they would not certify pre own unless the car has five hundred hours more of use after those ignitions. These are pretty stout engines. I spoke this week with protomotive who’s been in business forever and they can make this car a 1200 horsepower car, one thing I learn what works on 996 turbos is sometimes negative on 997 turbos and viceversa. Happy Friday and wish you all a great weekend I get to drive my 99 today . Honestly quite a bit of people buy these cars to take them to the limit, ie most of us are not driving miss daisy.!
Bid in the amount of $61,997
@OuterLimits i believe that one needs a connection to the OBD and a computer with the appropriate software. All shops that service Porsches have them.
@BWserge The paint meter readings are there scroll all the way to the bottom
You will see them posted
Anyone that’s bidding on this car wait till you actually see it in person
I would definitely rate it at 9.9
Can we get paint meter readings please
Bid in the amount of $60,000
@jbtuckermd I reached out to Pcarmarket
Someone should reply soon
On how to read dme
Thanks
Please help explain the DME readout. It does show some
Level 5 ignitions. I don’t see the total hours
@luis.seneriz Well excellent I see you’re looking to get this car to drive it like it was meant to be🤣
What are the total hours in the DME readout
Thanks. I had a highly modified over 600 hp 996 turbo. I’m not keeping it stock. I love flying and driving and reason it wouldn’t make it to Houston off course other than me been thrown in the big house going supersonic at the wee hours on the morning.
@luis.seneriz Thank you yes I hate to see it go 😞
The car has a 1 inch I Bach lowering kit that was installed by Flemington Porsche where the car originally came from to my knowledge that’s the only thing down to that car besides the wheels it has a vivid racing carbon fiber front spoiler
I bought it certified preowned you will see the sticker on the inside of the door jam
Bid in the amount of $49,997
What a gorgeous car. I’m going to try. Really awesome. Any modifications other than the wheels.
Bid in the amount of $45,000
