Featuring a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine, this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior. It commanded an original sticker price of over $102k including the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, Power Seat Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, Porsche-crested headrests, and more. Cared for by three previous owners in New Mexico and Texas, this 997 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 27k miles on the odometer.
This Cabriolet is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black retractable top. Compared to a base model Carrera, the Carrera S features red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. This example rides on factory 19” Carrera S wheels with optional colored center crests. The Continental Contisport Contact 3 tires are dated from 2011 in front and 2010 in the rear, retaining approximately 7/32” and 5/32” of tread respectively. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior features optional heated and power-operated seats with exclusive Porsche crested headrests as well as the Bose High-End Sound Package, self-dimming mirrors, Navigation for PCM, and a remote 6-disc CD changer. The seller confirms all accessories remain fully functional.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in less than 5 seconds with a top speed of over 180 MPH. All available maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report including the last recorded service in 2013 at approximately 27k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Whatever123 Sometimes it's hard to get service records from previous owners. Most common reason is because they have their personal information on them they treat them as personal documents.
Not to be negative on anybody, but I personally don’t believe a car is well maintained if no records are there to back it up. It’s not a Kia. No record’s=grab bag. Imo.

@BarryLe As i mentioned to you before we didn’t acquire the vehicle directly from the owner and we don’t have direct communication with him.
I will keep asking
theartofspeed: That is so disappointing. You represented that this car was part of a very large well managed collection with a full time Porsche mechanic. It should not be hard to ask for his cooperation to review his service records for this car. I think you should try harder.
@BarryLe Unfortunately i was not able to obtain them. I apologize for the inconvenience

theartofspeed.com: I continue to ask you for service records. You said that you would reach out to the former owner. The lack of records will affect the bidding. In fact, it already has. Are you going to produce some service records from 2013 on?

I wouldn’t drive this with 11 and 12 year old tires. I’d get at least $800 for tires.

Bzcat: At bare minimum, the car will need a full 40,000 mile service at a Porsche dealership irrespective of mileage just based on time and four new tires.
@Bzcat The car was part of a collection and was properly maintained in-house. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed!
So the car clearly has not been driven since 2013. What service was performed to bring it up to date?
